What make anyone think that the sailors were Tamils? Maybe they were Sinhala LTTE supporters?
Anyway what proof it happened?
Is there any evidence? It is a good location, 300 miles off the coast so no one can check out the evidence. Maybe it never happened. It is just a propaganda to feed the southern dummies.

SLN shouldn't have destroyed it they could have captured the valuable artillery & release the vessel so that it will come again with another load of weapons for SLN to capture.Then no need of spending money.
Hope they try next time. Next time a vessel may appear in the west who knows.
