how pathetic are these stupid tamil thugs, trying to white wash their terrorist activities blaming GOSL!! they shouldn't have bomb the civilian area in the first place !!! this ground is surrounded by civilian Establishments!!and if SLAF wanted they could have landed on massive runaway in SLAF Batticaloa Base!!!,
these lunatics were trying to kill the diplomats, like they killed Rajive!! now face the consequences!!good stupid move by tamil thugs!! |

| Ambassadors say we have informed well before about this meeting to all relevant institutions - including NGO's.
So I don't think they would take these types of LAME excuses from LTTE !
Now the formula LTTE -not equal to- 'Tamil community' OR 'Sri Lankans' seems to be getting more and more validity :-

| I live in Italy and here this morning they said that the ltte was not informed.Italians are saying the same thing both r too blame.even here in Milan there is sinhala -Tamil problem. people r treating Tamils and sinhala people who have Tamil friend very soon there is going to b problems here too. what a shame. |

| Thambi!!please don't tell me about Batticaloa and I don't need to look at your map???coz I have 02 years experience in Batti, from Valachenai ,kathankudi,Chenkalady and so on! so As a fact I know if there is any military air movement, they will come through SLAF Batti camp,coz they have a huge air field and a helipad, so this time it was a public play ground and this was very clear in the local map so ,your tamil thugs know better to target well know area, and funny thing is there should be some ltte informant within the vicinity of the VVIP's (check the SL Defence web video first!) this attack has very precise planning!as soon as VVIP's landed shell's started to rain through the sky!! so i hope you will understand my point and please don't tell me this ground is belongs to military! becasue I have been there!! |

Look how this attack been carried out!! ltte have attacked SLAF runway, Webber ground and the camps !! ????? and that stupid looking ltte MODA pala saying we have not been informed, and we could have avoided the attack!!lol( who the heck he think they are!Governor of the east!) funny thing is ltte Mottarala was saying SLA has provoke they by shelling first!! so, why the hell they shell air strip and the stadium!!without selling SLA mortar points and detachments!SLAF camp etc,,,,to retaliate!!
he can fool ordinary tamils and sympathizers by those silly statements but not the VVIPS!! |

1. What is the international standard in flying diplomats or any non military neutral parties into a battled area?
Did the government of Sri Lanka follow by that standards in flying the diplomats in war torn East?
2. Shouldn't ICRC or any other organization be informed beofre such vist by VIP and the saftey be guaranteed by the warring parties?
Was ICRC or any other neutral party tasked to make sfae journey arrangements for the diplomats, by contacting the LTTE?
3. How could the GOSL blame LTTE deliberately attacking the diplomats? on what basis have the Hon. UN Secy Mr. Ban Ki-moon and/or his spokesperson Michele Montas condemned the LTTE for an attack against SL military targets, which were used by the GOSL to transport the honourable diplomats withoout the knowledge of the LTTE?
4. Did the GOSL make a miscalculation in thinking the East is cleared of LTTE?
How would the LTTE know of such a visit - whereas the GOSL has been saying the LTTE is almost eradicated in the East and had been dirven into jungles!
5. Did the GOSL knowingly and cunningly submitted the lives of diplomats in danger to muster world support, like the U.N Secy's reaction?
I humbly point out that the hon. UN Secretary Ban Ki-moon by his own ethics....

LTTE and cross border terrorism: threat to entire World
From day one, LTTE has been involved in human cargo smuggling, illicit drug and narcotics operations, smuggling of arms to raise funds for their outfit. This has not been limited to Sri Lanka or its closest neighbors, but widely operated through their front organizations right around the world the latest being sea piracy, breaching all maritime laws and conventions.
LTTE's first cross border terrorist act was the assassination of Indian Premier Rajiv Gandhi on his own soil. Indian Courts found Prabhakaran and Pottuamman guilty of murdering Rajiv Gandhi. USA has recently under FBI Sting Operations, arrested 4 LTTEers and two Indonesians who were helping LTTE to procure arms in USA. Two Indonesians on the arms procurement operations have pleaded guilty and 4 LTTEers are awaiting judgment. It was also reported that FBI has trailed a deposit of $700,000 by LTTE as a down payment to procure arms. It is also a well known fact that LTTE agents in USA have attempted to bribe some congressmen to procure arms illegally.
On the other side of the world, there have been cases in India and most recently in Qatar. Indian Police recently arrested some arm dealers affiliated to LTTE from Tamil Nadu attempting to ship 6 tons of steel balls to manufacture claymore mines. Following this arrest, another arrest has been made by Mumbai Police, of LTTE attempting to ship equipment including 65 Japanese digital cameras for spying, 500 ball bearings, 21 camera lenses, 300 FM radio sets and other accessories valued at India Rs, 15 million. Four people were arrested including three from Tamil Nadu according to Indian media reports.
LTTE's most common form of terror is to hound any one who opposes the LTTE in any part of the world and kill them. They have planted hit-men in many countries to carry out these assassinations. Last week in Qatar, 5 LTTE cadres were sentenced to death for bludgeoning to death another Tamil who had been a Karuna supporter.
LTTE like Al Qaeda has already proved that they are terrorists sans borders. These assassinations of LTTE opponents outside Sri Lanka clearly demonstrate that LTTE has its tentacles of terrorism spread over many countries and not only a threat to Sri Lanka but to the whole civilized world. It is also a well known fact that LTTE has links with Al-Qaeda.
A report by an advisor to US Government states that The Al Qaeda-LTTE relationship was formed in 1991. LTTE is also linked to Maoists in Nepal and many other secessionists groups in India. Despite all these connections and cross border terrorist activities, it's appalling to see that the Western block of the International community thinks that LTTE is only a domestic threat to Sri Lanka. It's time, the USA, other countries most importantly UK, EU Countries, Canada and Australia regarded LTTE as international terrorists in the same manner as Al Qaeda and other Muslim terrorist groups.
It suffices to mention that LTTE's main hit men including Prabhakaran, Pottu Amman and recently the Sea Tiger leader Soosai have become the most wanted criminals by Interpol. LTTE is a one-man show headed by tyrant, megalomaniac Prabhakaran. Ironically, the international community wants Sri Lanka to negotiate with this murderer. Should we?
It is absolutely shocking to believe that the West still thinks that the LTTE could be tame via peace talks. They have repeatedly in the past failed to make any move towards peace. Peace talks have been used by the LTTE to re-arm and re-strategize their war and counter propaganda machinery against the government of Sri Lanka. Let's be real and stop playing a game of chess with the innocent and poor lives of Sri Lanka when in fact the war machinery has brought fortunes to both warring factions in Sri Lanka at the expense of down right misery to its people.
In the present situation, War is unfortunately the only solution. Total and absolute annihilation of the LTTE leadership is required for permanent peace in Sri Lanka. A well planned out democratic process should be in place to restore the rights and freedoms of the Tamil people written into the Sri Lankan constitution. Democracy should always prevail with elected political groups addressing the legitimate issues of their Tamil constituencies.
It does not take a neurosurgeon to realize the Predicament in
Sri Lanka................terrorism anywhere in the world could destroy a nation and a civilization. There is absolutely no differentiation in these groups they all need to be dealt with the destructive force of War with no room for compromise. |
