LOL wow when did Silly Lanka become a superpower? PTA, LOL who the heck cares about your crappy country and your crappy laws? LOL, give that a try most of us are citizens of our native lands, try bringing you third grade laws to bear here.
The LTTE has been getting the support because many 'natives' in your respective countries were acting with impunity. But 9/11 should have been an eye opener to any idiot to know that it does not take much for the law to be changed. Why did you all scream and shout when the PTA was implemented here? Same thing bro, just a matter of tying up with the rest of the world who has a PTA. Being a Canadian it must be assuring that you are above the laws of SL, but when it comes to terrorism and its support you are just small fry. Harboring terrorists is becoming a headache to many countries. Sing another song once all countries align their laws on terrorism. |

If the East is under the control of the SLA how is it possible for the LTTE to attack ?
Is the East under the control of the GOSL or is this attack the handiwork of the SLA to blame the LTTE TO GET IC SYMPATHY.
Are the LTTE roaming freely in the East with weapons ?
or
Is the GOSL in control of the East?
The US and Italy will not trust the GOSL to provide security for their people in SL in future.
It must be muhilating for the SLA for letting such a thing happen.
or Maybe it is an inside job.
So many questions and no answer.

It is my guess that the LTTE thought that the Helicopters could have carried some High-Ranking Army officials, and they took the chance....
And one thing can be deduced, if this was the case..
and that is the LTTE's intelligence in the east and their communication net in the east is no more....They are acting in isolated pockets and act on mis-informed targets..

Because so far it has only resulted in the arrest of hundreds of innocent Tamils who are being held without charge.
The PTA does nothin to catch real LTTE, as seen by all the years it was in effect previously. |

| PTA is worth all the trouble if it catches just ONE LTTE with a mission, and so far few have been caught. Sorry about the innocents. But since you always want to put it, we are at war and war brings with it collateral damages. Stop crying. Most of the 'innocents' were processed and released. |
