The same way they defeat the JVP...
(Kill some high ranking military officials and put the blame o on JVP)...That was the history..
Same game GOSL playing...
Fire the artillery from Karuna & SLA side and put the blame on LTTE..
This is only a cheap shot by SLA...

If the Foreign diplomats had got the clearance from LTTE this incident would have been avoided.
It is the result of believing the punnakku news producer Kehaliya, East is liberated now we are only stripping the houses furnitures and equipments, Diplomats please come have a look at our achievements. |

the USA ambassador is correct, ltte will conduct guerrilla ware fare when conventional methods fail.
Good afternoon. Yes, I think guerilla warfare is something that cannot be liberated completely unless the movement is dead lock stock and barrel (Like the JVP in the 80's). This incident clearly sends a message that sporadic attacks such as this could continue until complete annhilation of the LTTE which I doubt or less likely to occur unless GOSL does the what American did to Iraq( even that its still there).
MR however, has a good excuse now to keep attacking due to the present incident and many more similar attacks.

May be LTTE cannot be defeated , because it is an idea. LTTE must be defeated for 2 things..
To eliminate terrorism.
Never to ask a seperate state within Sri Lanka.
These are the 2 goals and IC shouldn't bother about it too much. |

| Wait till the rest of the world wakes up today. US is just coming out. I am sure the LTTE fan club who are still farting in their early morning sleep is going to have a baadd day in a few hours. SO much for their recent campaign to support the Eelam struggle in the US itself. Was it in yesterdays' news?. Talk about damage control. The FBI will be all over the LTTE agents like a swarm of bees. As Homer would say, Wooo hooo! Till today no US citizen was harmed by the LTTE and they could have been proud of that fact too. But then, siht happens I guess. |
