When vakare fell, Rasaiah told media that they never controlled the East, but operated in Guerilla mode...they never said that they don't operate in the EAst at all...
Well this attack is proof for their guerillaa mode tactics...
but this time, they miscalculated the target big time....

| Jacob, clap as you may proud of the LTTE's prowess, you have no idea of the the implications of attacking and injuring foreign diplomats. Gloating about the LTTE 'ability' to attack any target is one thing but attacking foreign diplomats is not exactly a wise thing. But then, the history of LTTE methods does not exactly reflect 'intelligence'. Doubt of the US Gov will sit back and take this lightly. So much for the clapping yesterday about the ambassadors comments and how the GOSL is -removed-ed. Whose -removed-ed now? |

As standard procedure...the next LTTE move is to totally deny involvement....knowing the full scale of wrath this might incur..........
As for the TNA, what will they do.....???
They can't condemn LTTE, cos if they do...they will be 'severely' condemned..(if you know what I mean)...
So they will say LTTE is not involved... Edited By - ahmadineja - 27 Feb 2007 05:34:37 GMT |

| Now its good lesson for Journalists and VIPs. They should not rely on SL Army security any more.Only option available to them is,getting proper permission from TamilEelam before landing or visiting. |

The existence of the LTTE is blessed by the US, as long as LTTE does not become a threat to the US. LTTE, unlike bin ladin, is not a threat to the US. This was not a deliberate attack against the US ambassador.
Hence, don't expect anything other than a 'strong condemnation' from the US. |
