The SLA seem to require a lot of international aid and time in order to defeat such a small force. First M. Rajapakse, goes and sucks the cocks of the western nations(USA,UK, Israel). Now he's crying out to India and Pakistan. And this is your leader?
In a nation where the singhala majority outnumber the Tamils 7:1, it raises the question as to who is really in control. A bunch of boys scouts, as you called them, have control over 2/5 of sri lanka. Seems thes LTTE goons have brains after all, more than I can say for your chauvinistic leaders.
Velu may b a grade three dropout, but let us not forget....elephant pass..bandaranaiyake airport...the list goes on......

Bheesan,
Gaja
Tell me how every ethnic group, every religious group in Australia can get Sel Determination.
It is possible and is necessary for each one of us to feel independent/self-determined. Our conscience helps us do this with ourselves. Our cultural and national laws help us do this at the wider level - for external peace and harmony.
Since most of us are not able to do this individually we group ourselves as families, communities, religions etc. Then there are only some issues where we are seen to be different compared to other groups. The rest is addressed confidentially within each group. Hence it is necessary that only those with least differences with other groups lead the group. Otherwise we would not have international acceptance and we would not feel part of wider society. Once we feel a part of a group - we feel confident that we belong and it gives us motivation to progress. I know through experience that even if others do not come - God comes to show us that He approves of what we do - often on behalf of others.
love
