1. There are more Sinhalese in Sri Lanka.
2. These are more Muslims in Sri Lanka.
3. There are LESS tamils in Sri Lanka.
4. Sinhalese and Muslims have more moeny.
5. Sinhalese and Mulims have more education.

The Sinhalese derive their language from Indo-Aryan invaders from India who are believed to have invaded the island of Sri Lanka sometime around 500 BCE.
So there is nothing related to Indians really ??

Indians gave you genes.
Indians gave you a language to speak.
Indians gave you a religion to meditate.
Indians gave you an art of living to use.
So is there really nothing related to Indians ???

given the fact that the ltte is a banned org in India the TN has no option but to go with the law of the land.
currently , the state TN enjoys much more privilege contrary to the Indian constitution compare to many other states in India. having said that , the Indian central govt heavily relies on TN for it's survival as a one block India and the TN leaders are pro Indian than ever before. these days the TN leaders do not advocate TN separation from the main land India.
the biggest threat for India is Pakistan , therefore the Tamils of TN play a crucial role in Indian Establishment as well as in security matters through out the country. many of India's military hardware factories as well as uranium enrichments sites and nuclear research centers are based in TN.
so where do we draw the line between TN and TE?
TN will never assist TE full stop. the TN will only accept refugees and issue few statements to condemn SL govt for the human rights abuse just like the rest of the world .
if this the stance the Indian govt is adopting regarding the Tamil issue in lanka , it has to be prepared to defend itself to safe guard the southern coasts of India from alquida, paki ISI and Muslims extremist from entering the southern states.
Colombo cannot be trusted as it has always acted against the interest of India concerning Pakistan.

But I've heard tell of an ancient language the early Sinhalese used. It was called Olu, I think. I heard that it wasn't influenced by Sanskrit. |

why do you worship Katharagama deiyo and so many tamil gods.
Sinhalaes were hindus before they became budist. even tamils became budist long time ago. there are lots of evdience. Most of them got burnt by GOSL and some in the state library are hidden. sinhales historiyan were there and they were well funded to change the history.
ex Sri Vikramarajasinham is a tamil king. If you go to the maligawa you can see letters written in tamil not sinhala.
At the first parliment the PM says about the kandy king is a tamil. now all changed bcz of politics. Tamils were the first settlers of sri lanka. Viya came after.the histroy say 5 important hindu temples were there even before vija came to sri lanaka. All these templese were Karigamam, thiruketheswarm, muneswarm ( rest of the 2 i cant remember)all part of sri lanka

The question is not who came first.. But the fact is that Tamils are as anciant as Sinhalas at LEAST.. |
