If Tigers can get war material in India, so could the other terrorist groups. It took a while for Indians to fully comprehend the situation. It's not too late to act...

EEELamaya,

we Tamils have florished in many countries all over the world... when we have our Republic of Eelam, we will be putting all our money to develop it

I doubt my friend, Tamils are not foolish (only fools are the ones that are unnecessarily blowing themselves up) they will invest where the returns are good, i.e. in the South...

Critics in Sri Lanka, including the opposition, who watched helplessly as its central bank printed large volumes of money to finance the deficit in 2004 and 2006 driving inflation up and the rupee down, have drawn parallels between the two countries in a bid to underline the need to regain macro-economic stability.

Three months ago IMF told Sri Lanka that heavy money printing that started in April 2006 or 'increased central bank financing of the budget' was the cause of high inflation in the country.

'To this end it will be critical to pursue a credible path toward fiscal consolidation and a monetary policy focused on reducing inflation,' IMF said.

Sri Lanka's inflation hit a ten year high of 20.5 percent in January 2007 and the rupee fell to around 109 to the US dollar from 102 at the beginning of 2006.

In 2004 Sri Lanka jettisoned an IMF backed growth plan that brought 12-month inflation below 2 percent and exchange rate appreciation for the first time in decades, to return to money printing, fuel subsidies, power subsidies, heavy public sector recruitment and state intervention in agricultural markets including fertilizer subsidies.

IMF said Zimbabwe's voting rights at the Fund would remain suspended.

Last month IMF closed its office in Sri Lanka after more than 20 years citing costs and the lack of an ongoing program to require a permanent resident office

No one can find our origins in india.

I guess the enlighten Buddha himself was not Indian, and so Sinhalese society is not related to the Indian culture, philosophies, and religions.

I must guess that you are aliens who came in Starships ??

punchi comes to the reality very quickly..
