Some say that sount end of sri lanka was connected to kerala and the north end towards tamil nadu.
C the sinhalese dress like kelara pepole( rethda hatay) cook like kelrala pepole. the animals mainly the birds are most of them common what we got in south of sri lanka. even the sinhala letters look like malayalam. its sometime looks like malayam, and pali mixed is sinhalese Edited By - jacob99 - 24 Feb 2007 10:38:15 GMT |

Ave Emperor! Lol,
I'm also looking for it now. I didn't find it on Wikipedia or Google. Not exactly sure if Olu is its real name, or if such a language even existed but I can vaguely remember reading or seeing something on TV about it sometime ago because it intrigued me. I definitely recall the fact that it was free of Sanskrit influence being mentioned. |

Bossman,
It's Elu not Olu!
Hmm...that might be it. Once again, I'm not exactly sure of it though. Here's a link I just found, but it's apparently more closely related to Tamil than Sinhalese.
