Looks like no one is interested in peace.
All seem to be interested in war. It is who has got the bigger gun. A macho ego affair. The Innocent die while the uninvolved talk and talk but most of all the politicians make money. Lots of it.
All of us are being taken for rides for so long we are beginning to enjoy it.

STOP . Look around and see what is happening. See how your countrymen women and child is suffering.

Wasn't there enough blood on all of our hands?

Do the right thing. Enough of this foolishness. The world is laughing at us. We are going back wards while the rest are decades ahead.

Lets stop this war and show the world we too are just as good as any developed country in the world ie. if we really are. I think we have the brains and the willingness now lets get the government to make it happen.
If this gov can't we will get one that will work for the citizens.

Lets make peace. We had enough bloodshed for far too long.

sinhala army started the war by burning the jaffna library in 1981

when you start something, you have no control over the consequences. the people who start the problem can only watch the consequences unfold

its time people like you stop complaining

Marginalisation of CFA compells Tamils to resume freedom struggle - LTTE

The SL(CW)MM reports that the CFA was broken by the LTTE close to 8000 times...and the SLA about 300 times...

Well, who is responsible for more marginalization???

The LTTE can't count or what?????

Mate, Chelvanayagam started it even bofore when he went and applied tar on the 'sri' mark of CTB busses and other name boards ceremoniously...

and VP started it by killing Alfred Doraiappa before 81...

looks like every LTTE sympathizer has convenient amnesia!

chelvanayaham did not kill anyone. in 1981, LTTE did not kill any sinhala civilians or damage their treasures

also duraayapa is not a sinhalese. its like tamils talking about jvp era in 71 as affecting the ethnic conflict

as bbc is known to be biased towads sinhala gov, these statement in this bbc website must be hard to swallow for them, but they know they have to find one way or another to swallow it:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/country_profiles/1166237.stm

1958 - Anti-Tamil riots leave more than 200 people dead. Thousands of Tamils displaced

1977 - Separatist Tamil United Liberation Front (TULF) party wins all seats in Tamil areas. Anti-Tamil riots leave more than 100 Tamils dead.

1981 Sinhala policemen accused of burning the Jaffna Public Library, causing further resentment in Tamil community.

see, when you start something, you ahve no control over the consequences

LTTE began 1976. What did LTTE do from 1976 until 1981 until sinhala Army burn all the books from Tamil Nadu and foreign donations.

There were no hindu books in Jaffna library. All those were burned by Potugeese in in their times.

Besides, you don't worry about HIndu books, because you are not Hindu.

sinhala army have killed more of their own kind than anyone else, 100,000 innocents in the 2 jvp eras of 71 and 89.

muslim groups have had clashes amongs themselves in the east, not on the same scale

LTTE have killed traitors. among all the tamils who condemned LTTE, only rajini thiranagama did it in a genuine way as she condemned all crimes by army, LTTE, IPKF. others like anandasangaree, loganathan condemn LTTE with a dollar metre hanging near by, when army kills they just sigh in their air conditioned office, so dont mention them.
