A satyagraha launched by Buddhist monks demanding the abrogation of the Oslo-arranged ceasefire agreement, continues at Viharamahadevi Park on Tuesday. They want the government to quit the agreement before February 22, the fifth anniversary of the pact. The government recently reiterated its commitment to the agreement signed by the then Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran on February 22, 2002.

The CFA will be 5 yrs old tomorrow. Of that
* RW led SL for 2 yrs.
* CBK + JVP and now MR + JVP for 3 yrs
3 is GREATER than 2!! :) :)
Now with Milinda + GLP + Rajitha on board the PUNNAKKU wagon, MR is all for the CFA.
But Motta Ralas Brainless HOOTERS still HOOTING like a pack of wild monkeys against the CFA. And the HOOTERS think MR is against the CFA. PUNNAKKU cant get any more fresh and real than this! :)
What a pack of Jokers. 3 years is GREATER than 2 years! :) :) I cant make it more simpler than that but the HOOTERS still dont understand!! :) :)

First of all let us not insult the true Buddhist monks by calling these idiots monks or priests.
They are only CHEEVARADHARIS, or GANNINANSES (simply ganayaas) as they were called during the times of the Kandyan kingdom.
A person does not become a Bhikku just because he is wearing a cheevaraya. One has to follow the Buddha's way to be a Bhikku.
Buddha never preached that Bhikkus should take part in politics. Buddha clearly preached the way for a Bhikku to develop one self. The real Bhikkus follow the way Buddha preached, not the way preached by some politician.
These cheevaradharis are part of a bankrupt political party and this tamasha they do here has nothing to do with the religion. They are just like the amudewallahs we have seen few days back.
All these people the so-called farmers and these cheevaradharis are used by sinister political forces to gain political support for their party.
These kalakanni cheevaradharis will suffer enough in the SATHARA APAAYA after their death, for the insult they have done for the cheevaraya, so we do not have to worry.

Why the heck they want to abrogate a defunct document ? to kill more & more.
Would anybody counted how many lives saved by the CFA?
== Sri Lanka run rate 9deaths/day
== For 5 years 16,000 lives would have saved but minus 3,500 killed by Motta Rala regime.
== So total 12,500 lives saved.
In reality these people doing sathyagraha against 12,500 lives saved.
They want to see blood & death of 12,500 fellow SriLankans. |

Are these Messrs. Monks promoting the continuance of a killing field by wanting to abrogate the CFA. Devolution and Self Governance warranted in this Cease Fire Agreement can't be treacherous to anybody unless these people think that every grain of soil on this BIRTHLAND is and should be governed by a particular ethnic community.
These Preachers/Followers of Buddhism should be reminded that those who rule over Properties and Wealth DO divide them amongst their children or any heirs to ENSURE harmony,peace and prosperity amongst and between their heirs. Is this practise also a treason.
You people should be charged for Treason as you are a hindrance and obstruction to Justice, Peace and Democracy in our Birthland Ceylon/Sri Lanka.
