Capricon2,

RW may not have won even with those votes. But the LTTE couldn't have guessed that.

All the polls, including the ones done by UPFA indicated the majority for RW in the two weeks immediately before the election. (Before that MR was leading)

In the evening of day of postal voting RW and camp knew LTTE might request a boycott, but they did not do anything to avoid the situation.

Northern province itself had 700,000+ registered votes and support for MR was extremely poor. With the benefits people of the Northern province received after CFA RW could have won with a small margin.

The way I understand is that moderate peace loving tamils living in SL and abroad are critical of LTTE's action to prevent the vote in N-E.

Yes, totally agree.

Two years ago did you ever think Schizo Prachanda (Prabha's counterpart in Nepal) was ready to accept a negotiated settlement?

Shakthi,

One needs to compare apples to apples. Nepal militancy was not an ethnic issue but a political struggle. Prachandra is much more educated person than Schizo Prabha and did he fight for his security or political changes?

Magha,

You still did not answer the two questions I have put. Forget the first one and answer at least this.

Two years ago did you ever think Schizo Prachanda (Prabha's counterpart in Nepal) was ready to accept a negotiated settlement?

You also say:

Nepal militancy was not an ethnic issue but a political struggle.

So you mean terrorism when they are resulting from political struggles can be addressed by negotiated settlements but when the origin is ethnic, you have to fight and annihilate the opposing race?

Magha,

Okay. I will make the matters easy for you.

Forget Prachanda.

3-4 years ago did you think Karuna, the no. 2 in LTTE then would ever change himself and think of entering democratic framework?

Yes or No?

Magha raised the issue about Prachanda' and Prabha's education.

This is an interesting information.

Prachanda was an Agriculture student who dropped out from the university.

Incidentally Prabha's wife Madivadini too was an Agriculture student of Peredeniya University (of batch 1981) who dropped out in the middle.

I do not think even Karuna knows what he is fighting for.

Better ask Indians.

i do not think the Indians know much about.
karuna enjoyed so much power under VP and all of a sudden (after CFA) he became so greedy to grab the power.
after karuna's departure from the ltte, the condition of the east is worst than ever before suppose to be better according to karuna.

karuna is nothing without the ltte!
