Now here are some points:
(a)If government has a deal with the LTTE, the best source to inquire about it, is the LTTE.
(b) If LTTE has a deal with the government, why should expat Tamils and other LTTE supporters sponsor an organization which has underhand business with, in their own opinion, a racist Sinhala governments?
(c) If Sripathi is worried so much about waging the war in 'empty' eastern province, does it imply he unconditionally support attacks in Kilinochchi, the place, according to him, where the real war should be?

Frankly, I can't understand Sripathi.

But I can clearly see a future for Man-Gala. He should join Ranil (not necessarily the UNP). Remember, Mangala always wanted to be close to the leadership. ha managed it with CBK and was frustrated when MRs brothers are blocking his way. If Mangala joins Ranil, one 'leader' without any friends these days, he not only can be close right hand man, but also can sleep with him. (Kohomada Mage Tikiri Mole).

If the SL govt says there is no deal than there must be one. Anizam has come up with a very good analysis. One should pay attention to what he says. Because it makes sense.

Of course, Anizam 'predicted' the outcome of last presidential elections 100% correct.

However some stupid, ungreteful, idiotic, thieving gang of 'voters' defected at the last moment and Anizam's verdict went Kaput!

Now he is NOT, I repeat, NOT backing Ranilchelvam any more!

Cheers

LTTE get it weapons from the GOSL.
They have stoped buying from overseas. The LTTE feels it is a whole lot cheaper to take from the SLDF. And when the have new wepons they just leave it behind for the SLA to find and claim a huge victory.
GOSL makes its money from amonution purchase deals inthe form of kickbacks.
MR and VP have made this deal but if anyone asks both will say there is no secret deal.

No need to be so mean to Anizam. Nobody could predict what the LTTe was up to. They prevented people in the north from voting. That was the factor. If you analyse the results you would see that RW would have won the election with the votes of tamil people. Then that would have been a clear mandate to run the country. Now MR who won with the help of LTTe does not have a clear mandate to rule the country. His mandate has many holes. Further, he has brought about a great deal of misery on the SL people, be it tamil, sinhalese or muslim.
On the other hand, had RW won we would be reaping economic and social benefits in many folds without a single killing, disappearance or murder. And without wasting much needed money.

And that would have been a real change compared half baked war and peace approach the SLFP government had been taking over the past 15 years.

With Ranil SL would be in a win win position.

You see this is the problem in SL. When there is a good,well-mannered and delegating type of leader, like Ranil,DBWijetunga, we call them 'Mr bean'. When we have leaders like Premadasa, JRJ we call them dictators.
This is a huge problem. If you analyse our leaders over the past 20 years, you would see that RW is a true leader, who delegates and oversee. In contrast, CBK, MR keeps defence, finance ministries to themself. That is being too power hungry.
RW is not powerhungry. That is a good quality we all should appreciate. If he had been then UNP would be in power by hook or by crook. But he is a gentleman. He wants to get power through fully democratic means. Nothing else. He could have impeached CBK and held on to his last term but he left it open.
Sri lankans are so unfortunate that they don't have a leader like RW who could be compared to american presidents like Kenndy, Roosevelt, Abbram Lincon
Clearly SL does not qualify for such leaders.

It is called 'democracy'
If not we would be calling Ranil, Sungod or something similar to that effect.

Cheers
