I thought they ( GOSL) wanted to make Karuna PM of the East?
What happened?
As usual it is all lies.
Karuna believed it and fell for it. It only goes to show there are some dumb people in the Tamil community as well.
Karuna is a dead duck and it is advice able for him to stay far away from the shores of SL.
Karuna is a dead person the day the double crossed the Tamils. |

| I am still against killing. I know Karuna is a bum and a cold blooded murderer. So if GOSL wants should bring him to justice using the legal system or they helped his wife to leave the country one week before he split now should help him leave the country and spare his life. |

The tragic fate of TRO employees abducted by Karuna cadres
The fate of Premini was terrible. The dusky woman with attractive features and a slight squint was taken to another camp and raped first by Sinthujan himself. Threafter it was a horrible gang rape with TMVP cadres taking turns to intimacyually assault her. Fourteen cadres raped the poor girl. Some troubled TMVP cadres did not participate in the rape but were powerless to stop it.
Premini was heard to shout and cry at the start. Later she merely sobbed and whimpered. Premini was taken out before dawn by TMVP cadres to the jungles. She walked like a ?nadaipinam? (walking corpse) without crying or showing signs of emotion said one ex - TMVP cadre. She was apparently hacked to death and thrown into the bushes.
This account of what allegedly happened to the abducted TRO personnel has troubled me greatly. The tragic fate of Premini is deeply distressing. I have re - constructed the tragedy from accounts related by ex - TMVP cadres. It may be possible to persuade them to testify to these incidents at a genuine inquiry if their safety is guaranteed and identity protected. Edited By - Thambi - 16 Feb 2007 01:51:07 GMT |

Well Said Asithri,
I have this bit to add about Sripathi's Talks.
I don't remember the exact date, but it was the day before the attack on General Fonseka. Sripathi was on a hot seat of a certain political debate program, probably on Swarnawahini. He was defending governments inaction to Terrorist Claymore attacks taking place in various places. According Mr. Sripathi, LTTE has become a very weak organization which would only do petty crimes to keep up their image among Villagers of the areas under LTTE control.
The very next day, LTTE carried out a major operation right inside the SLA headquatres, which looked as if it was to mock Sripathi's big mouth. |

| There is nothing new in this story. All these terrorist leaders knows they are target every 24 hrs. They don't trust anybody. This is true of not only terrorists in Sri Lanka they are true of all politicians in Sri Lanka. If Karuna trust this government or anybody he would not have lived so long. He made the correct move by defecting at right time avoiding the fate of Mahattaya. I think as a smart tactician he will make his mves right again. Everybody in this country has to deal with the government. Nobody can ignore the government. |

The damn Govt; Controlled 'Daily News' is making a big deal out of Sripathy's quote.
Sripathy Suriyaarachchi ridicules Forces
COLOMBO: Government dissident Sripathy Suriyaarachchi yesterday belittled the efforts of the Armed Forces valiantly battling the LTTE by stating that they (troops) merely invaded deserted areas and report that the LTTE retreated.
?The battle should be fought in Mullaithivu and Killinochchi. But what they are doing is attacking abandoned towns and boast that the Tigers fled,? he said at a joint press briefing with fellow dissident Mangala Samaraweera.
They should look in to the allegations by the 19 page Managala's letter which was NOT published by 'Daily News'
I hope this govt have the guts to reply to this letter. Edited By - laliths - 16 Feb 2007 03:49:55 GMT |

Karuna spokesman Azad Maulana quoted his leader as saying there was absolutely no reason for the Government to assassinate him as such a move would have detrimental consequences for the Government both at home and in the international arena.
What a wonderful piece of logical analysis and an educated opinion by a leader and a freedom fighter????????!! |

.
I strongly condemned the statement made by Sripathi Sooriyarachchi.
He is trying to degrade the success / dedication / sacrifices of Sri Lanka armed forces.
To me He is more than a Joker...
