This is actually true if a political or other party wants to use it against the military or GOSL.
But it is different when you look at it from a civilian point of view. It comes back to the bargaining power of numbers. So a major portion of civilians will still want a association with or without LTTE to the North.
On the other hand Karuna or his party is not welcome by the North so he is of no use. If GOSL can hold onto the land in the east and bring in some development it can keep the east free of violence. Karuna will turn to be a hindrance than an asset. So getting rid of him in the early part of the game will be better for all. |

The liberation of the east would have been this easy if its not for the contribution of karuna...

U know, if anybody watched sriipathi in the past election campaign debate forums on TV channels, like Kinihira, this fellow was so famous for fabricating stone lies with no shame and would be caught off-guard on some of his own 'theories of conspiracy' when cross-questioned by the rival debaters...
Sriipathi is a talented fellow for one thing for sure....
and that is 'Lying with a straight face'..and he is a tough arguer/debater and would go to any length to prove his 'theories' even when he himself know it's a Big crooked lie...
I wouldn't know much about his 'Karuna Theory' but, having seen this fellow in the same 'situation' before....
I have my firm doubts as to the authenticity of his newest'theory'..

Accusations .. and Counter-Accusations of alleged threats to 'kill'.. Difficult to say what may happen .. the 'crystall ball' is a little 'murky' at this time.
But 'crossing' a Govt when it is facing a 'ruth-less' enemy is a dangerous and foolish thing to do. Looks like the 'end of the road' .. politically speaking .. for these two 'would-be reformers' .. Siripathy may be able to 're-habilitate' himself with the JVP .. Mangala may have to go into 'political hibernation' until such time as CBK comes up with a 'plan' for 're-taking' the SLFP as her family 'heir-loom' .. |

When we look at civilians point of view, SLG must liberate civilians from LTTE. So those military conditions are important, For example in VAKARAI LTTE build BUNKERS by rice bags) What Happen to civilians there?
LTTE used all medical equipments to there purpose, What about civilians?
So civilians point of view this military strategy is important for liberate civilians from LTTE.

| Kaurna is under the house arrest , and he is not in his own , he was used and the game is over , but the same name Karuna would back fire government or sla very soon to retake the control of east gained recently , after a careful study they realized the important of closing Karuna's chapter as possible as soon , he is no useful anymore .LTTE decision to lose east was a master plan , now Karuna no more an issue to LTTE but for Gosl is he is pain in the b..d . |

Karuna Amman said he was not concerned about his life but at the same time did not believe the Government has any plans to assassinate him as alleged by former Minister Sripathi Sooriyarachchi at a news conference yesterday.

I do not know about this Siripathy,but he and the other too have,perhaps opposed the cross overs and we should agree with them,as the ruthless terrorists are faced by the SF as Mihinda's circus is something else as all these crossovers opposed the policies of MR,like the unitary state etc.These rascals have crossed over for their own benefit.If they truly wants to help the government to get over this security situation, could vote from their benches,instead of seeking ministries etc.This whole thing is absurd and unacceptable in a true democracy,as a member is voted to office on mandate given to him by the voter and the manifesto of his party.He can't change it by crossing over to the other side without the consent of the voter.Good night! |
