I am very sorry to disappoint you; I am not a fan of separatism, because it is not necessary. Sri Lanka must move towards an inclusive society with devolved governments.
Sooner or later, the Sinhala Buddhist Chauvinists need to be challenged paving a way for power devolution. Separation will not solve anything; if anything, it will make it worse the hardship; most importantly, it is not sustainable.
One more thing I would like to say; despite the hostilities and bitter fighting, the Sri Lankan Tamils' destiny still Lay with the Sinhalese. Both Sinhalese and Tamils are same people, whether one likes it or not. |

What is so ironic is that Tamil net says civilian settlements destroyed...
then why no casualty figures for civilians..
this from an organisation that cried when one civilian is killed by SLA (but ignores LTTE when they blow up busses with children) |

like i said, body count is not going to be an issue, but in that case, who is counting all the dead LTTE? ICRC? Do they even know the figures anymore with so many scattered groups being hunted down and killed or captured? What make you think that the SLA is not telling the real number of LTTE dead to lull your leadership in to false sense of security? |
