What is a pariah state.
A pariah state is one which:-
Attacks and kills civilians including children, women eldery and infirm.
Bombs and destroys people's home,hospitals and schools.
Prevents the civilians to earn their living.
Destroys their crops,
Prevents the peples free movements.
Arrests and detains and tortures the people and throw them into jail without any trial.
Rules the country with emergency,curfew and draconian laws.

What is there to get excited about this piece of news? The GOSL together with the thugs bductors cronies commit serious violations of human rights against the innocent women and children!!!
Therefore if you look at things in perspective! LTTE has no case to answer!! Of course GOSL wants to divert attention from their failings! serious failings!!!

This Tamil Eelam ('Tamil Ceylon') would comprise 29% of Ceylon's land mass, 60% of its coastline, and its only major harbor, Trincomalee. It would accommodate 9% of the island's population (more than half of the Tamils lived and worked in the cities of the south). The agitators justified this audacious proposal with a romantic pseudo-history of the island that identified their newly invented Eelam with an ancient Tamil kingdom predating the Sinhalese and attributed its disappearance to remorseless Sinhalese oppression. |
