under un conventions states can use people aged 17 and above for combat. ELAM is a defacto state as such have the right
to recruit anyone above age of 17 . |

If you are sixteen you are an adult. You can get married and do all the things possible under the sun.But why you cannot fight to save your mother and sister being raped and killed by sinhala state terrorist cowards?

| Nale, just because you married an under age girl does not mean the universal laws can be bent. There is a standard age where the border between 'child' and 'adult' is marked. Some countries it is 18 and some countries it is 21/22. 17 is still a child. Some armies have kids who lied about their age to join up for the excitement and the adventures of being a soldier. Forcing children to carry arms to kill other humans is a crime. Its not about defending anything or anyone. |
