Rebels attack Sri Lanka commando camp, wounding four

Tamil Tiger rebels are suspected in an attack that wounded at least four anti-terrorist commandoes in Sri Lanka Tuesday, the Defense Ministry said.
The rebels fired mortars at the Special Task Force Camp in the eastern district of Batticaloa just after daybreak Tuesday, wounding the four, said military spokesman Brig. Prasad Samarasinghe.
There was no immediate comment from the Tamil Tiger rebels, who have fought government troops since 1983 for an independent homeland in the north and east for Sri Lanka`s ethnic Tamil minority, following decades of discrimination by the majority Sinhalese.
The conflict has left at least 68,000 people dead, including about 3,600 fighters and civilians who died in an escalation of violence last year, and despite a 2002 Norway-brokered cease-fire.
Both sides claim they are still adhering to the truce

Looks like the operations in the east are not complete yet.
Time to get the special forces small groups and karunas forces to do some cleaning up.
Or even better, open up a new front in the North. That'll get them running to the Wanni to protect fat prabha.... |

We can stop this war only from justice. An unjust economic system creates the need for war and violence. An unjust political system creates a disillusioned people who feel that violence is the only way out. An unjust legal system destroys faith in social institutions and creates the need for paralegal means to obtain a mirage of justice |

Prabakaran is praying for another 1983 Black-July episode where he ended up 100 times stronger than before.
He would do everything to provoke the sinhalese and put the tamil civilians to be victims. But his methods are well-known and will not work
