| | Anura Banda and his naked women Sunday, 11 February 2007 - 1:00 PM SL Time | | | Ex-Minister Anura Banda should feel happy now because he is released from an unpleasant task he was supposed to do.
He recently complained that he is not interested in looking after some naked women (heluweli geenu) at Sigiriya.
In a way, it was the fault of Motta Raala. Knowing about the orientation of this confirmed bachelor, Motta Raala should have kept him as the Minister of Tourism where he could have enjoyed the beauty of the nudity of beach boys, instead of troubling him with the nudity of girls. That would have been a real torment for him.
Anyway, I feel so sorry for those beautiful damsels at Sigiriya. They might have felt really pissed off. For two thousands years nobody had told anything like this about them.
In fact those who have written on the Mirror Wall only wrote about the beauty of the damsels.
These are some of the things others had said about them. (I am sure Anura Banda would never have read any of these. It is too much to expect him to read these)
Who is not happy when he sees
Those rosy palms, rounded shoulders
Gold necklaces, copper-hued lips
And long long eyes.
We spoke but they did not answer
Those ladies of the mountain
They did not give us
The twitch of an eyelid
The girl with the golden skin
Enticed the mind and eyes.
Her lovely breasts caused me to recall
Swans drunk with nectar.
The ladies who wear golden chains
on their breasts
beckon to me.
Now I have seen these resplendent ladies,
heaven has lost its appeal for me.
A deer-eyed maiden of the mountain side
arouses anger in my mind.
In her hand she holds a string or pearls,
and in her eyes she assumes rivalry with me.
(P.S. Those who have studies the murals have not come to a conclusion whether these damsels are topless or not. Some say they wear thin transparent blouses. Interestingly, they say those who were shown topless (or wearing transparent blouses) were the queens and princesses while the girls who cover their tops were the lower class servants!)
After hearing this remark, I not surprised that someone wants to hang Anura Banda from an electric pole in Attanagalla. I am not sure who it is. That can be either the ghost of Kashyapa or ghost of Paranawithana.

Shakti,
Anura Bandaranaike made a very sensible statement in Parliament after the security forces captured Sampur:
'Winning the the hearts of Tamil people is a harder battle to win'
Despite his idiosyncracies, I appreciate him as a moderate. |

This is a REQUEST to any LTTE supporter in the forum. (You may take it as a CHALLENGE if you wish)
Some people think they are very smooth by challenging us.
I lived LTTE control area for long and I went to so many Hindu and Christian religious festivals, since I don't have any photos that could dis-proof his pathetic claims I went for some dig up in the Web.
Here are those links, Challenge well accepted!

Minister says third party killed Raviraj
By Kelum Bandara and Yohan Perera
Minister Tissa Vitharana dropped a bombshell in Parliament yesterday when he accused a third party of slaying Jaffna parliamentarian, Nadarajah Raviraj.
Speaking during the vote of condolence, Prof. Vitharana said this third party sold arms and ammunition to promote war and violence meant more profits for it.
He charged that this same third party was responsible for the slaying of another TNA parliamentarian Joseph Pararajasingham on Christmas Day in 2005.
Meanwhile UNP leader, Ranil Wickremesinghe said there were big question marks in the killing of Mr. Raviraj as it took place in a well-secured road in Colombo with two military establishments on either side of it and a police establishment in the middle.
He (Ranil) said it was clear the killing of Mr. Raviraj was not carried out by the LTTE.
Case is closed!

Tamilcanuck, Sritharan,
Dint know you two are so naive to believe politicians. Do you think Ranil and Pissu Vitharane work for Scotland Yard?
In the absence of solid evidence, I have given enough logical reasons why LTTE killed Raviraj.
If you want to refute what I say, please negate those reasons rather than quoting some politicians who have their own reasons to say what they say.

Sundog,
simply it is so obvious
Please tell how it is so obvious. I may not agree with your reasoning, but I like to hear.

Sritharan,
I made a REQUEST to publish the photos. So thank you very much for publishing the same.
However, what is missing in those pictures are simple smiles on the faces of people. (as you can see in the news image photo)
Perhaps they have been living under hardships for so long they have forgotten how to smile.

I know exactly what you will tell about our posts.
It is easy to suspect a politician's motives, because only reason s/he is being politician.
When Sinhala Air Force bombed and killed innocent Tamil civilians, I normally expect the Sinhala media will justify the killing by saying all those murdered soles are hardcore LTTEs.
It does not matter what you think, because it does matter what we Tamil think about LTTE.
Please, don't forget comment on Hindu Festival pictures! (Bonus)
You never believe me because I put a Tiger's picture in personal page, I went a quite lot Hindu festivals when I was in Eleam (LTTE controlled area).
You have to learn many things from (real) Tamils! |

There is nothing to argue, Shakti!
You and I have already made up our minds. We are traveling different paths, so there is nothing to argue! |
