AnuD Modaya is changing Mahavamsa for his whims and fancy like the present racist Buddhist monks of Sri Lanka. There is not a Single word about Karnataka in Mahavamsa. Even the word Karnataka was derived from Tamil and it was introduced by the British to denote the present Karnataka state.
I think this man is out of his mind or his senile mind has problem remembering the things he read 70 years ago. Although Mahavamsa is the fantasy of monk Mahanama 600 years after Ellalan, he clearly states that Ellalan was a Tamil like many other so called Sinhala rulers.
I think AnuD Soma Rama Thero should stop meddling in the history of Sri Lanka to justify his anti-Tamil racist ideas.

Those days, all the tamils in Sri Lanka were para deshi - Indian Tamils, Even Indian tamils used to call those kings with words implying 'northern people' which meant KArnataka or 'wadugan' or 'waduga Desha'.
