Magha,
Tamils took arms in the eighties.
And Sri lanka became free from British and India in the fifties !
Are you saying that during 30 years racism born from nowhere ?
Racism born because of racism himself!
Clearly Sinhala chauvinists made Tamil racists !
The Only Sinhala Bill is still applied, and a Tamil man or woman cannot still become the President of the failed racist country called vulgarly 'Sri Lankadeepa'.

You wouldn't have got the beating if Tamils did not start a war with us to carve a piece of Sri Lanka only to your self in the first place.
Hmm another history dropout, who started the war again? What happened from 1948 to 1972?
No GoSL zombie ever has an answer to that question.

Yep this guy looks guilty. I dont know if you can say how guilty a person is, just by looking at him, but im going with my First impression.
If we had a good/Uncorrupt Judicial system, then re-introducing the death Penalty might be a great idea. HOwever, we dont have one at this moment. So put him in jail for life. |

KURAL:
I clearly said 'MY FIRST IMPRESSION is that the guy is guilty'.
Why is this not a possiblity? Just like LTTE considers that there are traitors among the tamils who help the govt (ex Karuna, EPDP), why cant LTTE hire sinhalaese to work for them. Money is a VERY POWERFUL motivation for any human being.
According to some sinhalese - The LTTE has already infiltrated the HIGHEST level of the Srilankan Govt (Milinda Moragoda and GL Peiris) :) :) :)
SO Please explain to us why you think this is not possible?? Edited By - anizam - 7 Feb 2007 20:55:34 GMT |

Anizam,
ofcourse LTTE has sinhalese on their payroll. this could be it or could be someone not with the GOVT.
thats how they can mount operations in the south. LTTE will never go near tamils in the south. |

TCK,
1954 was infact a Harthal nothing to do with the colonization , and it was my mistake. Protests against colonization happened even before . So Tamil media had said that Tamil were killed by Sri Lankan army during those time.
In a Book called Sri Lanka untold stories ,chapter 15 Turbuence in any language. K.J Rajasingham writes:
Professor A Jeyaratnam Wilson in his, S J V Chelvanayakam and the
Crisis of Sri Lankan Tamil Nationalism, 1947 - 1977, writes, 'His
Federal Party (Ilankai Thamil Arasu Kadchi) now offered the
alternative of a Tamil-speaking autonomous state. Chelvanayakam linked
the Tamil language with the traditional homelands, these being the two
most relevant components of statehood. These were parts of Ceylon that
were inhabited, and they could therefore 'put up a fight for their
existence' against Senanayake's government's plans for colonizing
'other parts of the Eastern province and parts of the Northern
province' having already 'started Sinhalese colonization of Gal Oya'
in the East.' - page 34.
The Tamil leaders objected to the Sinhalese colonization, not because
of the loss of territory, but mainly because it resulted in a change
of the ethnic composition of the Tamil region. Edited By - magha - 7 Feb 2007 22:16:59 GMT |
