Where is Vimukthi the pseudo-Socialist? Has he been captured? I have not seen the man for sometime. he must be marching in the 'Yudha Virodhi peramuna' in Fort railway station with Vickremabahu

Do you know whether Vimukthi Jayasundara the film director of 'Sulanga Enu Pinisa' which depicts soldiers are nothing but sadists is the Vimukthi in the LNP, because he's in the 'Yudha Virodhi Peramuna' and talks along with Kumar Rupasighe et al. ?

In my opinion it is no co-incidence to see a connection between abductions and the relative safety of Colombo.
Even these 3 buggers were abducted in the night, then only the Fort demo took place.
To quote Ranil's 'best friend' Paul Harris this is one of the options he pointed out the government should take many years ago:
Pursue the terrorists remorselessly and kill them in large numbers before they kill you. This implies 100% commitment physically and mentally. This course of action implies the use of special forces, extra-judicial execution and significant loss of human rights for the period in which it is employed. Intelligence is the key.
I say to hell with human rights. If the Americans are practising abductions to the maximum by abducting Italians, British, French on their very own door steps, then why can't we do it on our own soil?
They should allow a special escorts and special lanes (like bus lanes) to these white vans :-) |

Rajapakse appointed Mangala Samaraweera as Foreign Minister.
Rajapakse's supporters, during the presidential election campaign, faulted Bandaranaike for having failed to actively campaign for Rajapakse's victory. But, Samaraweera who was sworn is as the Foreign Minister, was praised for his contribution as chief coordinator of the presidential campaign.
But, Samaraweera, who recently aired criticism against the human rights record of Rajapakse regime, has been sidelined during the last re-shuffle.
The controversy between Rajapakse and Samaraweera became visible when the Lankan president appointed Dr. Palitha Kohona as the Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs in January.
'Local and international human rights organisations have recorded that a person is abducted every five hours. Kidnappings, abductions and killings have become common incidents. No matter who does it, as a government we are responsible for it,'Samaraweera was reported as saying.
