The 'province' in your logic is Tamil Teritory (also known as Tamil Eelam)... it is part of present NE.... if any oil found there, including territorial waters of Tamil Eelam, the oil money will belong to Tamil Eelam! |

you just get replies from few who say 'tamilnet false propaganda', etc. they say bbc, reuters, AI, UN and all others is false information
I post information which many don't bother to read in any other forum or things they were not informed by the propaganda machinery of the Govt or exremist media.
I don't expect 'them' to reply.
No point in replying to silly billies or exremist provocations. |

I disagree with this offer
LTTE is a terrorist, outlaw outfit
They must be crushed and no has the peoples mandate offer any olive Branch to LTTE.
If Bogollagama wishes to offer anything different to crushing them he will have to go- unless of couse if this is meant as a ploy to get the terrorist to come to talk peace then?? |

Why do you think I do not want peace? It is Tamils who chose the war path for a Tamil Eelam and not Singhalese.
That is the reason i feel you do not like Peace..U address as TAMILS..no my dear it is the LTTE. You can't say all TAMILS are for violence but yes!! all LTTE are Tamils..

Fishing hamlet fears backlash after Navy arrests

Residents of a fishing hamlet north of Colombo say their community has been dangerously stigmatised after the Sri Lanka Navy (SLN) last Saturday blew up one of their boats, seized two others and arrested nine people alleging complicity in a Sea Tiger attack on Colombo port. Munnakkarai is a mixed ethnicity fishing community of around 5000 people, located 1 km southwest of Negombo.
On Saturday 27 January, at around 7:00 a.m., Sri Lanka Navy gunboats pursued one of Munnakkarai?s boats, intercepting it 25 km north of Colombo harbour, community representatives told reporters Thursday.
Agitated and panicky SLN personnel ordered the 3-man crew to jump overboard and then opened fire on the boat, destroying it.
The SLN also arrested the three crew and 6 other fishermen from two other boats, which were towed to shore and ripped apart by investigators.
The nine fishermen, one of them a Tamil, arrested by the navy were handed over to naval intelligence, Munnakkarai residents said.
SLN interrogators alleged that the fishermen had collaborated with the Sea Tigers in carrying out attacks on a number of SLN vessels in the early hours.
Meanwhile, local Sinhala media alleged that fishermen from Munnakkarai had received one million rupees from the Tigers to ?harbour and guide? their attack craft towards Sri Lankan naval vessels guarding the Colombo Harbour.
After the arrests, when the fishermen society approached ruling Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) local leaders who had a support base among the fishing community, six fishermen were released.
But intelligence officials subsequently arrested another six people from Munnakkarai, including another Tamil fisherman.
Munnakkarai residents said they were fearful that amid the authorities? seeming determination, supported by the media, to implicate their hamlet in attacks on the Navy, they would face a backlash.

I am sure he does but sometimes in the constitution it will say to hold a Ministerial post you have to give up your foreign identity as you wil be serving sri lankan. If you have dual PP, he has nothing to worry, he -removed-s it up and go back to Australia. it will not be in the interest of the Sri lankan!! The People!
These rascals dosent need to have dual PP anyway they Screw and go back to wherever they want :))))

This is another trap,we have seen so many Bogollagama's last 30 years.. Nothing Materialize so far,how come now?
GOSL, never had a clear mandate to solve the problem of Tamils
Time to time,they play this game to fulfill their ambitions in politics,nothing else...
GOSL is force to do this,because of the IC..
There are cocktails, JVP & JHU also UNP will try to achieve their goals, by opposing this..
In the history of Sri Lanka,the Sinhalese modayas never united, in anything good for Tamils..
This is the truth..
So, In overall there is only a 0.01% chance,the Tamils will get a fair treatment from this wolfs.. |
