World Police congratulates Rajapaksa for successful `poaching` of opposition MPs

World Police has today congratulated the ruling Rajapaksa regime in Sri Lanka for successfully forming a cabinet of 51 ministers after convincing 24 opposition MPs to make the leap to the ruling coalition.

`At the outset, Mr. President, let me congratulate you on the formation of your new cabinet,` World Police had said in meeting of Sri Lanka`s donors in the Sinhala extremist heartland of Galle. `We applaud your efforts to forge a strong legislative majority,` World Police had added.

Meanwhile, the main opposition United National Party (UNP) which lost 18 of its MPs over the weekend had labeled Rajapaksa`s actions as `poaching` of MPs with promises of meaningless ministerial portfolios.

Sinhala media also joined in today adding that most of the defectors were forced to do so by threats of investigations into corruption.

According to the media, MPs were warned that unless they joined the government, investigations would be launched into alleged corruption during the tenure of the previous government.

Hey guys dont feel jealous.

I have never heard about such a perfect gentleman like Mr. Suresh Gunasekera. A true sportsman, a brilliant scholar, a corporate leader, a philanthropist, a happy father, a considerate friend to all his friends and a wonderful husband having a beautiful wife.

Do you know that, he is my role model. One day I want to be someone like him.

Nale, they are very ugly and looks very unclean much like that son of a chimney sweeper from Vaharai. Btw, do they also stare at other people's breakfast tables?

They look like they were born to a tramp. One has hair like that of a porcupine and the other has a pair of eyes of a Gonussa.


I am totally against legalizing. I remember my parents used to have a very hard time when my Brothers were growing up. Finally, to prevent my brothers from going 'outside' my parents brought in a pretty looking servant girl from Gampola.


What is so unethical about it. Let me continue, she was given in marriage by our Father providing the dowry with our monies. And today she is happily married with 2 chilldren. So what's wrong?
