Sri Lanka`s LTTE orders NGO workers to leave Mullaitivu
Tuesday, 1 January 2008 - 4:08 AM SL Time

The deadline given by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) for workers of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to vacate the Mullaitivu area of Sri Lanka`s Northern Province expires today.

The Voice of Tigers, the illegal radio operated by the LTTE, claimed that the organization came to this decision after considering the safety of NGO workers amidst the developing conflict in the region.

However, others sources reveal another reason for the decision. According to them, the LTTE`s Intelligence Wing has raised suspicions over possible leakage of inside information to the Sri Lankan security forces through NGO workers. The LTTE has not ordered NGO workers to leave Kilinochchi, even though they also face the same volatile situation in that district.

UNless any news connected LTTE is printed in their website or reliable Tamilnet.com nobody can take anything seriously. Defense sources attribute their propaganda materials to the overheard telephone communications or radio broadcast of the LTTE, but, often fabricated.

When the LTTE orders the NGOs out....Ban Ki Moon and lot are all quiet! Someone should moon that moron if they get a chance! Same goes for all the righteous squad members - Norway, Aunty Clinta with her bell marks and the rest of the goody-two-shoes gang who think the LTTE are 'rebel fighters' representing all tamils in Lanka. Man, what a flippin charade!
