However, I can see the pain you had in writing the name 'Sri Lanka' but then this was very much known to me for years!

the 'Island of India Ocean' has more positive attraction than the called SRILANKNA where the smile of 'The pearl of Indian ocean' got disappeared - take it positively - you cant force people but let the change make the people to talk the way you wish . wish you a happy prosperous 2008 .

US Tamil group to take Gota, Basil and Fonseka to courts....Jayen Jayawewa

By Mendaka Abeysekera in New York

A United States based organisation called 'Tamils for Justice' has launched a massive fundraising project to de-proscribe the LTTE and to bring to justice the three US citizens holding power in Sri Lanka for allegedly committing gross violations of humanitarian laws, and crimes against Tamils

According to Tamils for Justice, Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa's two brothers, Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, Presidential Advisor and Parliamentarian Basil Rajapaksa and Army Commander Gen. Sarath Fonseka are clearly subjected to US law and jurisdiction and are believed to be guilty of gross violations of humanitarian laws, crimes against Tamils and other serious offences such as money laundering.

I wish Mr Brown and everybody a happy new year. Just a question to ponder. What will happen to LNP if the war ends?

This is why karuna's case is important. It will set precedence then it will not matter which countries citizenship the person is holding.

Hope justice will prevail.
