7=9 is not possible

Who says?
If you add 2 to 7 it becomes 9.

Things are possible that were declared impossible 100 years back.

P Ranils said defeating LTTE is impossible but for MR it is possible.

Mr Brown,

Well, people like me who work with numbers throughout the day (and night as well, sometimes!) like a bit more comprehensive quantitative analysis.

Like how many members we have so far, the level of their engagement, the average time one spends on LNP, the usage patterns, from where they come from (this is partially answered but not in numbers like say x% from US, y% from Europe etc) I guess you automatically capture that type of info. So it is only a question of analysis.

I know you are busy, but may be a grad student might want to do this as a part of thesis. :-)

BTW, are you using Goggle Analytics?

I use webtrends in conjuction with urchin (ganalytics). Several goals I have this info you are reffering to if sombody is reaaaaaly intrested. But for most people page views would do to see how much noice we have.

Mr Brown,

Thanks.

BTW, 'NOISE' is a subjective term. What we see as noise (like posts of Pera, for example) might not be 'noise' for you. (Guess that is why he is still with us!)

In most cases the vast majority of the hits are noise, because they access only one page (directly by a search engine mostly) and spend less than 30 seconds on it.

By that definition Pera still does not qualify as 'noise' because he actually spends sometime here. As a matter of fact, he spends most of his acive time here (making us wonder whether he does any job at all) So from your angle Pera should be defined as a very productive member. :-)

Shakti,

Thank you very much for 'spending time' to analyse my posts here in LNP.

For your info, even Mitta Brown ban me, I do not give a siht!

Try to get more and more Marks from Mitta Brown by bending over to him :) :)...You reminds me of some of my students (who are poor in their studies) who spent time to please the teachers...just to get through the exams!

Only people in Sri Lanka WORK .... I live in a 'foreign' country and do not actually WORK in the office..

Happy new year to you :)

Moron Sinhala Dogs in the Tamil land should have 'Dog day' everyday in 2008! Happy Dogs!

What a start for a New Year!

Mr. Brown, Happy New Year to you and your family.

LNP does serve as a very useful Forum to exchange opinions though some, like the one I have quoted are deplorable and must NOT be tolerated. Why not ban those who resort to foul language after ONE warning? That is one suggestion.

Next, any reason for the use of the prefix Mr. in front of your name. Doesn't it make it too formal? Ok how about Moderator replacing Mr.Brown?
