The turmoil of last year among the LTTE is quite clear.
The combinattion of long range patrols,use of sympathetic tamils,air attacks, sea embargo and conventional attacks have shocked the LTTE. The slow strangulation of the LTTE is half way thru. You see, the army has the luxury of time and resources, the LTTE does not. The hunter is the hunted. Enjoy the view, the news for 2008 will not be any better than last year. 2007 was only the beginning. |

AP-- ranil wickramasinghe in a special interview stressed that colombo will be hit by terrorists attacks in the near future . hightened the factor of fixing air siron system every corner of colombo to ensure that civilians will be secured in underground safe locations in an air attak. He also mentioned at the world war 2 he was enjoying the bombing of japanese army on sri lankan soil that it remembered the pearl harbor attack . asa precaution he insisted that every colombo house should have a under ground bunker and he will be ready to give aids for bunker construction in a future gov under his leadership..

There is a difference between playing and fighting,
Last 25 years GOSL politicians played with Terrorists. They talked peace with terrorists. In the process Sri Lanka lost greate number of Sinhalese and Tamils.
Now the honeymoon is over. Now what you are experiencing is the fighting with terrorists. When it comes to fighting, this is how you are loosing.
Do you have East any more ? Do you have ships for drug and arms smuggling any more ? Do you have a barber to show his teath and pretend how innocent LTTE is to the world any more ? Do you have your VOI ? At least can your Leader come out and deliver the Birthday speach any more.
So my friend fun time is over. This is called fighting.

Just tell me why the LTTE have to run road patrols every few hours to clear all roads in and around Killinochi?
