I have herd of some people from a certain race are dumb but not the entire race being so dumb as to be fooled time and time again.
I am sure one day somewhere in the distant future there must be an honest Sinhalese who will do something for his people.
It looks like it must be a curse on the Sinhalese people which dose not look like it will be going off any time soon. |

I did some numerical calculations to show you how General Patton's statement
can be viewed in terms of the SL conflict:
(note I rounded up and did some approximations)
Using the SL 2001 census data:
Sinhalese (2001)= 13,810,664
SL Tamil(2001)= 736,484
Ethnic ratio Sinhalese:Tamil ratio=18.75:1
2001 census was impeded by the Tamil politicians and terrorists
as the true population balance due to external + internal migration
was worrisome to these parties:
Hence I doubled the SL Tamil #
SL Tamil (corrected)=SL Tamil(2001) X2= 1472968
Corrected Ethnic ratio Sinhalese:Tamil ratio=9.50:1
Tamil terrorist estimate 19,000 dead.SL losses in same ballpark.
So 19,000X9.5= 180,500 SL soldiers to maintain parity
So the current ratio of close to 1:1 of SL armed forces:LTTE terrorist losses is untenable to achieve a battlefield victory.

LTTE was highlighted as one of the most decorated terror outfit,They were expected to make more bloodshed.
SLA playing rat and mouse game compelling LTTE to commit,for the past few months.
Sad why LTTE not changing there tactics ? Exposed.
Diaspora and IC including India desperate at one time but now simply things have changed.
SLA finally closing in../where most carders will change to farmers and school going children leaving Bunker rat isolated.
