....itself the target of killing at least ten rebels a day
How can the Army Chief call them 'rebels'?
They are just third class terrorists bent on killing unarmed civilians, pilgrims, members of the Armed Forces etc. etc....
SF !! Please call a terrorist,...a terrorist! There is no other word to call these blood thirsty butchers.
Another thing the Army Boss should keep in his mind... killing 10 butchers/day will not deplete the terrorist arsenal. They will forcibly recruit innocent Tamil children depriving of their education and the family..
Increase the number to at least to: 100 per day! Protect our Boys at the same time along with the Peace loving citizens of the Proud Nation of SRI LANKA.

The ppl dosnt seem to relize that the army loss soo many soldiers in battle and leave some soldiers behind without helping them..All this is to kill all LTTE leaders and bring peace!! They might take over Vanni by lossing 4-5 thousand soldiers but by the time they get there VP will settle in India.., Wut will happend next? VP will spend another 5 years expanding his power.., allready TamilNadu's support is there for him.
Now the attack will come from TamilNadu to colombo..watch and see my friends!
Tamils never forget there Enemy Till they kill them!
Sri Lanka will never get Peace till there is an TAMILEELAM!! |

Definition of genocide in the UN Charter:
'In the present Convention, Genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy in whole or part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group:' In other words anyone of the above acts committed over as period of time with the ulterior intention to destroy 'in part or whole' a 'national or ethnical group' constitutes genocide. The case of the Tamils in the island of Sri Lanka in the hands of the Sinhala dominated Sri Lanka Government exemplifies the above definition of Genocide in several dimensions. But the International Community led by US has not taken any step to stop it. Why? Self interest? Port facilities at Colombo and helping to keep the puppet regime in Haiti? |

Just like our politicians,Prabakaran seems to be out of touch with reality,to pursue this war against the forces of a 'legitimate 'government whose forces are superior and professional and greater in numbers.Just like MR and company,he too has been ill advised. He should give up arms and follow the path of Dough and other democrats of the Tamil people.Rewards for such a step is great or sadly he will never see his dream come true in his life and that's the reality. It is never too late and he must learn and be firm enough to ignore expectations of the diaspora, who has abandoned him to his fate, perhaps even helpless to come to his aid and he still has years ahead of his life and I wish him a happy New Year and may good sense govern his destiny for the new year and years to come.

Justman,
Wish you and your family a Happy New Year.
You are very sensible in many of your postings. Sometimes you also fall short of appropriate advice to SL leaders probably because of not knowing the post-independent history.
Just like our politicians,Prabakaran seems to be out of touch with reality,to pursue this war against the forces of a 'legitimate 'government whose forces are superior and professional and greater in numbers.Just like MR and company,he too has been ill advised.
I agree on the unrealistic approach of MR and VP, namely the latter's advice to Tamils on voting in the last presidential election, otherwise we would have had RW elected and more peace and less destruction and deaths.
You rightly put legitimate within quotes and as such MR has no mandate to pursue a destructive policy against Tamils. LTTE should not abandon the cause of regaining the lost political rights on language and equality. MR has demonstrated that he is not interested in finding a permanent solution that devolve governance and share power with the minorities. His insistence on District Councils within an existing and outdated unitary system will NOT work and is a recipe for more troubles ahead. That's why LTTE insist on Eelam which most Tamils will agree to compromise with under a system within a united SL that functions independently with guaranteed rights to govern themselves without the infringement into those of the other communities.
