uliyamkulam was already under sla control /400 metres from that point is the ulayamkulam ltte entry point ,that was the point that was said to be captured by sla on the 212/12/2007.SORRY TO SAY BUT AN LTTE counter attack they
regained the lost ground says srilal ranga in lakhbima.
also 3 sln were captured by sea tigers at delfts /naval sources have told lakhbima/but ltte silent on it
sla has to take narikulam /parapankandal and paliakuli
before they can move adampan .all these places are in the buffer zone and in the front of the main ltte fdl starting at vidaliathivu 6 km away.
sla has tried 5 times at adampan south and hav failed with heavy losses .LTTE ABANDONED THEIR VIETNAM BASE but sla reluctant to enter that area since haevily mined and booby trapped says iqbal athas . |

1. Defencenet blog mentioned the possibility of 2 captured sailors. So, nothing new or nothing confirmed.
2. You dont have to go through the areas you mentioned to reach adampan which can be reached along the coast. Again, please see the map.
3. You have been trying this non-existant invincibility of LTTE since eastern battles. Tell me when you admitted any LTTE loss?
4. Denial is quite normal before accepting defeat.
5. Hope 2008 to be the year of end of war and 2009 to be year of reconcilliation. May LTTE leaders have courage to stop the war and prevent further loss of life. May govt leaders have courage to propose a political solution to solidify Sri Lanka as one nation. |

but if you want to make ltte forces at madhu and further south redundant you will have capture all these areas .AS
sla have found it difficult to penetrate the thick jungles
in that areas says iqbal athas.SO THAT IS the reason sla have mounted these operations at parapankandal /uliyamkulam/

Dewey.. Solidifying SL as one nation is good. Trying to integrate Tamil Eelam with SL is such a bad idea..!

Thank goodness our leaders don't mince words on their goals and objectives!
I don't think army chief should say those words to reporters. It is disadvantageous to SL in the international scene. This BBC article will not go in GOSL favor. |
