The SLFP Central Committee is to take disciplinary action against Minister Mervyn Silva over his unbecoming behaviour inside the SLRC, when they meet on January 2, next year, Minister Maithripala Sirisena said.

Hope Ranil and Mangala will not welcome Dr Mervin if SLFP kicks him out!

LD,

By the way PERA. I need to send a cream to Sri Lanka (a drug). Are there any regulations for sending drugs from one country to another??And if so how can I send that??

If you are sending the drug with someone, try to get a prescription from a doctor for that. If the customs inquire about that, the one who carries the drug could show that.

Also, do not remove the drug (tube) from the original package.

Mervin came to politics in S:FP and crossed over to UNP few years later!

Pera, stop talking nonsense. There is no place in the new UNP for animals like Msilva. He was never in UNP. He was fetching water and fire wood to Sirima for a long time. CBK compensated him by giving a seat. Who made him the SLFP organiser for Kelaniya. MR will never take action against MS as they are two of a kind and from the same Hambantota and has the same amount of brain.

Raigomayo,

Pera, stop talking nonsense.

Sorry to dissapoint you sir. I am full of nonsence. Without people like me, there is no place for the people who speak sence!

There is no place in the new UNP for animals like Msilva.

Hmmm.. are you sure? Do you know a former UNP MP called Sydney from Pollonnaruwa district (who is still UNP organisor for Plonnaruwa)? THat guy is much better than Dr Mervin.

He was never in UNP.

If I prove that Dr Mervin was in UNP during Ranil's leadership, would you apologize to me sir?

He was fetching water and fire wood to Sirima for a long time.

Now Ranil is doing the same for CBK, Sirima's daughter! :( Duka Thamai!

CBK compensated him by giving a seat. Who made him the SLFP organiser for Kelaniya. MR will never take action against MS as they are two of a kind and from the same Hambantota and has the same amount of brain.

No. The truth is MR can't take action against Mervin because if that happens Mervin will cross over to Ranil!

LossD,

So as I feel I cannot MAIL it. Yeah??

No you could.

Please write the name of the durg, both trade name and the generic name in the custom declaration form. That would do the trick!

Much easier than sending that with someone.

Raigomayo, LossD,

Please read this carefully!

UNP leader sends warnings
TamilNet, Thursday, 09 July 1998, 23:59 GMT

Except the President , Mrs Chandrika Kumarathunge, and the Prime Minister, Mrs. Srimavo Bandaranayake, all of the other government ministers are corrupt, said Mr. Anura Bandaranayake, UNP parliamentarian, brother of the President and son of the Prime Minister while speaking at the UNP's parliamentary committee meeting yesterday.

Commenting on this Mr. Mervin Silva pointed out that Mr. Anura Bandaranayake had earlier stated that all government ministers are corrupt, sparking a verbal confrontation between Mr. Bandaranayake and other UNP parliamentarians Mervin Silva, Thilak Karunaratne and Rajitha Senanayake, that lasted for nearly 90 minutes.

The leader of the UNP Mr. Ranil Wickremasinghe did not intervene to stop the confrontation.

Political observers have interpreted this as a warning to UNPers, including Anura Bandaranayake and veteran A.C.S. Hameed, who have recently fallen foul, of the leadership.

Meanwhile, the UNP has warned that it will issue a motion of no confidence against the powerful media minister Mr. Mangala Samaraweere who is embroiled in a scandal whereby his credit card bills are alleged to have been paid by a Japanese business man.

THat guy is much better than Dr Mervin

If he is 'much better' than Mervin then it is ok. We need good, better and best people. Not bad, worse and worst people like MR and Mervin and the 108 thieves.
