Anura stripped of ministerial facilities
The government last night withdrew all ministerial facilities provided to Anura Bandaranaike.
It was not clear whether Bandaranaike who crossed over to the Opposition earlier in the day,had also been asked to move out of 'Visumpaya'- his official residence,with immediate effect.

Victory for the Cunnings & Stupids
The Budget was passed, and its a victory for the rich-patriots, a defeat for the poor-patriots who live on wage as it has no promise to support the rising cost of living.
The expectation of the gullible-patriots is the war will end with a military march to vanni with this budget. The real-patriots who knows such a day will never dawn helplessly watch the destructions made by the cunning-politicians and stupid-racists.

I believe that we all (who don't like dirty politics) are under frustration with the present GOSL!
I am a person who is waiting to see a beautiful Srilanka for decades. I really wanted this MR?s dirty government (with lot of Corruption?) to be toppled. But is it possible with MR?s JUMBO cabinet?
Present GOSL won the vote?.! What we are going to do now???
Do you have any plans so far?????????
Government is for the people people are not for the government. Why we should accept this government to proceed with the corruption again and again??????
It?s our nation and it?s our money, which some idiots enjoying???..

It has to be from grass roots and not because of the rice packet, money. a shirt and the cap
That doesn't answer the question on whether it is Popularity or Principles and whether it should be selection or election and, if selection, who does the selection and how the person/s selecting are chosen? |

No argument about that. But the problem is how much better will be the next government. Corruption and Politics are twins - not just twins but Siamese twins. Need a major surgery to cleanse Politics. We need a democratic leader like Hugo Chavez or a democratic dictator like Lee Kwan Yu. Can't see any one in the horizon. Can't even dream |
