What will JVP do? Vote against, for or abstain. The latter courses of action will see the safe passage of the Budget which will be a major disappointment to all those who want the govt. defeated.

Voting against means a possibility to defeat the Budget and increase their leverage. If I were JVP, I will vote against. We will know for sure in about 24 hours from now.

quite quantrary my friend, if it was the case the homo whould have been the president in south while pig praba controling the entire north and east!

Stupid UNPens in LNP will praise anybody when they join the opposition.. they will parise even Mahinda mama when he join UNP after ruling Sri Lanka for 11 years!!

Yes..if there is another elections the JVP seats will go up to 8!!

JVP knows that and wanna enjoy the 36 seats in the parliment. Who knows, sometimes JVP could have next leader of the opposition post if 6 more UNP MPs leave Ranil :)

Yeah. Justice demands that but JHU stands in the way. Does MR have the guts and wisdom to defy the JHU?


Weren't they boosum buddies not too long ago? What ever happened?
Maybe JHU finally figured out MR 's game plan........no?
It only a matter of time. They will start to knock each other out.

have any of these morons who r licking thier fingers till the govt fails , think of the consequences of the defeat?
can any one else get a magority in the parliment?
can anyone get a clear mojority in a new election with the current system?
then why r these hooter struggling for?
only one conclusion, they just want to stop the forward march of the army?

Addressing a press conference in Colombo SLMC leader Rauff Hakeem today said that the government is trying to change the demography in the Eastern province by way of settlements and land grabbing.


So within the space of one month, Hakeem suddenly realizes the demographics of Sri Lanka has changed.
