This is not a problem for the Govt.
The Govt. will deffinitely win the budget.
Govt. Could have easily given in to Hakeem's Demands and kept Hakeem. But, This is not Mahinda's style. Mahinda will let Hakeem Go and implement Hakeems demands without Hakeem. Then Mahinda will invite Hakeem for 'Tea' to Temple Trees and show him how his demands were implemented! Hakeem will drink the Tea and sit miserably in the Opposition benches.....by 2010 hakeem will have no choice but to support Mahinda......If not Hakeem will be politically dead!
We have all the Vedeo clips of How Mangala Attacked Hakeems Mistress Kumari Cooray! (Kumari Cooray is the Daughter of Former UNP MP for Panadura, Mervyn Joseph Cooray) We will expose the Mangala - Kumari - Hakeem Fiasco and all the Details of how finally Kumari had to set herself on fire and commit Suicide!! Due to the Sickening Politics and Pervertion on Mangala and Hakeem!
At the end of the day, The SLMC has split with Several MP's in the Govt. and some in the Opposition...
So we have a Split SLMC instead of a United SLMC......Thats the end result!
Mahinda can now give the Posts and Telcom Ministry to a Reliable Politician who will stand by the Govt.

I'm confused...will the JVP vote for or against the budget??? If the budget is defeated there will probably be another political circus show.

The Govt. will deffinitely not be Defeated at the Budget. There are Many MP's within and Outside the UNP who are supportive of the Govt. and want the Govt. to continue in office. There are many UNP(Traitor Ranil Faction) MP's who support Mahinda secretly.
Budget will Pass. And Traitor Ranil will once again bocome a looser!! |

Winning or losing is no matter to MR.
(he had already placed plenty of backups to make sure he cant be defeated by any means)
But 50% of south must know that they always depending on Tamils and Muslims to select their own leader.
In turn who ever that leader is, he always be a hero and will be the master butcher of Tamils and Muslims for next 5 years.
Currently MR happily serve his 50% supporters by chasing/killing and abducting Tamils and Muslims !!.

The Main Reason Why Hakeem left is because he wants the Telecom Regulatory Commision(TRC).
This is becasue he wants to issue TV/Radio Licenses to LTTE sympathysers for large sums of money.
President Mahinda Must NEVER agree to this demand. Currently, the Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga is the Chairman of the TRC

| Shameful bunch of Muslim donkeys crossed over to the opposition as they don't have a clear vision as to where they should go doesn't mean that this government will have to worry about it. I really like this move and I wish 'Thonda' also cross over there.... |

Why HAKEEM LEFt the govt.
He wanted the AUTHORITY of the particular Commission selling TELECOMMIUNICATION LICENSES which, at present, is under the authority of the President.
So, Hakeem left because he did not get the opportunity to earn millions from BRIBES.
This is the 6th time, Hakeem crossed the side.

GAMIYA,
You first said,
Govt. Could have easily given in to Hakeem's Demands and kept Hakeem. But, This is not Mahinda's style. Mahinda will let Hakeem Go and implement Hakeems demands without Hakeem. Then Mahinda will invite Hakeem for 'Tea' to Temple Trees and show him how his demands were implemented!
and then admitted,
The Main Reason Why Hakeem left is because he wants the Telecom Regulatory Commision(TRC). This is becasue he wants to issue TV/Radio Licenses to LTTE sympathysers for large sums of money.
Should that mean that MR will implement Hakeem's demand by issuing Radi/TV licences to LTTE sympathizers!
It is good to retain our common sense regardless of our political affinities. That is my 2 cents.
