What he has written is what he saw and herad.
The reality is certainly not what the military told him.
Private conversations with the people were strictly prohibited.The excuse for not allowing the reporter to freely interview the people was that the LTTE would kill the reporter and blame the military. This is laughable.
There is a soldier for every metre of main roads but yet Jaffna is not fully controlled by the military. LOL |

Priyanthi don't be jelousy about Jaffna students, though you are not happy there or though you try to pretend others that Jaffna students are not in happy, they are happily living over their than you people.
Though you like to see the war, though LTTE wants the war, Jaffna tamil innocents hate the war. Please undestand that reality.
As long as SLArmy protect and feed them, they are happily living.
Don't give money to LTTE to make claymore minds and kill innocents including innocent school students in Kilinochchi. ok. Dont give money to LTTE to kill your own tamil leadres.
This time thats the best thing you can do for your tamil nation rather than shouting here ok. Otherwise one day you will be fed 'Thal Punnakku' by your own tamil people ok.

It is no secret that jaffna is an open prison,, we only know what we are going through, thank god we are not the perpetrators,,
The officer confirmed that outside his huge military base there was a 9:30pm to 4:30am curfew, but added that this was of no nuisance whatsoever to the locals 'who are normally asleep at that time
imagine the plight of a person suffering from any kind of serious illness or a mother due to give birth to a child,,,,
