Prabakaran could be behind Tamilselvan`s death: TN Cong. leader

Senior Congress leader in Tamil Nadu and Former Union Minister S. R. Balasubramaniam yesterday had said LTTE leader Velupillai Prabakaran could be responsible for the recent killing of his political wing leader S. P. Tamilselvan, The Hindu reported yesterday.
Thamilselvan was killed in an Air Force raid on an LTTE hideout in Kilinochchi on November 2.
The Hindu story filed from Chennai said: `Former Union Minister S. R. Balasubramaniam told a press conference here that Tamilselvan was provided security by Prabakaran on par with the LTTE chief himself.
`The slain leader`s movements were kept secret. Under such a circumstance, how could Sri Lankan military know about Tamilselvan`s arrival at a particular spot,` he asked.
`Tamilselvan`s visit to the spot was deliberately leaked out, leading to his killing in the air raid,` he alleged.
He said the Congress never endorsed any support to the LTTE in Tamil Nadu and would vehemently oppose any backing to the banned terrorist organisation.
He regretted that the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi penned a poem condoling the death of Tamilselvan. The poem ended up creating a major controversy as AIADMK leader Jayalalithaa demanded dismissal of the DMK government for eulogising the leader of a banned outfit.
Referring to recent directive issued by the State police chief warning action against those supporting banned outfits, Balasubramaniam said he welcomed the police action against the pro-LTTE elements in Tamil Nadu.

This is a serious statement.
It is obvious the VP not only cares too hoots for tamil life, tamil kids, tamil opposition and tamil academeics but also many who have fought for him shoulder to shoulder such as
-Mahattya
-Karuna
-Soosai ( but escaped death)
-Raviraj ( for critisising his kids education on TV)
-Pararajasingham (for allowing people to vote in Batti)
and now possibly Tamilselvam ( ? may be because he may have suggested peace!)
He isa master of deception. Having killed them he will give them all titles ( mahavir)!
This cunning so called 'leader' is surely not firghting for tamil freedom but to hang on to every thread of power by eliminating everyone who is a threat to him or who opposes his idiotic thinking ! |

While question have been raised on whether TS was killed by the air strikes or by the LTTE itself, S.R. Bala's charge confirms the death by air strike but blames Prabha squarely for the death.
That means, Prabha is still the villain whether death was caused by the air strike or not. |
