Sri Lanka Secures $1.5 Billion In Aid From Iran - AFP
COLOMBO (AFP)--Sri Lanka's president secured $1.5 billion worth of financial aid from Iran for infrastructure projects while on a three-day visit to the country, his office said on Wednesday.
President Mahinda Rajapakse concluded his trip to Iran on Tuesday by signing eight memorandums of understanding with his Iranian counterpart for projects ranging from expanding an oil refinery to irrigation.

I know the value of a human life though I just turned 24.. I have many Tamil friends here in Sri Lanka and believe me I have this best friend who's a Tamil living in Canada and she never supports LTTE like you ppl do. I'm totally against civilian killings whether it's Sinhla or Tamil but see carefully the postings done by tigerforce... |

why the army fellows are staying in public places ? to protect the civilians , all army guys and defense people should be isolated from public , so the public will feel the safety instead of using the public as cannon fold . |

when tamils are killed they have parties /it is okay since he is only a tamil so what let us kill him it hurts now does it.it was gosl that were targetting tamil civvies
as part of the war i tell to the ltte kill them in thousands ./there must be only the sound of crying in every sinmod house only then will they understand the pain of the tamils. |

Ananthakuru Parimalan,26years old,Kommanthurai,Jaffna gun-down by SL coolie forces when returning from Kommanthurai Army camp,he and his sister went that Army camp to get back his ID card from there,it was taken by SL Armies yesterday when Kommanthurai was rounded-up,Army had asked them to come to the camp today.
He lives there since born and he lived in full of army controlled area since his age of 13years old,never involved with any activities of Tamils freedom and Kommanthurai soldiers well known him.
he was friendly with them since his childhood.
Only the mistakes he did...
born as Tamils and lived in Army controlled area.

Let me highlight one thing.
Imagine this kind of an attack happened in UK or somewhere. Do you think the majority will stay peacefully when their people are killed by some minority rebel gang ?? You should appreciate the fact that Sinhalease are not racists to take revenge from Tamil people like that. |
