Dissapointing- You are so knowledgeable.
I have a good offer in Malaysia-thinking of moving there.
Thats why I asked.
Didnt know indians got 3rd class treatment as one demonstrator said. Thought everything was fine there.

In that case why not come and look for your self.
All I can say is do not hear what anyone says. In which case you know the real situation.
I am here not by choice. I can live here or most any where I choose but nothing will be like Jaffna.

I have a good offer in Malaysia-

If it is a good offer why ask me? Go for it.

Thnx. In fact I've been there several times & spent weeks at a time-on business . I really admire that country and see no real discrimination except the bhoomiputra laws-which I think is OK - Sad to see a minority beginning to destabilize that place as well.

Our Eelamaya made a comment yesterday -
Malaysia needs a VP!

So I decided not to take it. Am happy here

If nothing works, take on the soft targets....

No 'Paid-in-Dollars' HR champions to shed tears...
No Gallery for the BBC to play this to....
No Louise Arbour to lament and call for sanction against the murderers...
No Gartheth Evans to Weep and Cry for R2P....
No Ranil to cry foul and go around the world...

These are just 'poor devils'

It is always the one who gets less will complain. It is human nature.
This issue is with the British Government. Not the Malaysian Govt.

what a piece of gem! So - Brits should 'revoke' the 'independence' and restore status quo as at pre-occupation & withdraw- whereever they went.
Fantastic.

BTW -you have a healthy respect for the Malaysian govt.

This sort of thing happens even since the SLA came to Jaffna.
How do you know it was the LTTE?
Just answer this.

Gee, now that a hard one that is. Especially when LTTE NEVER laid a finger on a civilian before.

Maybe there were some villagers who 'lied' about this incident, just for the fun of it, you know

According to Police sources, terrorists have opened small arms fire at the villagers and fled into the jungles area at the bordering Wilpaththu Sanctuary.

Police and security forces are now engaged extensive search and clearing operations in the area, Mahawilchchiya Police said.

Defence sources viewed this as an LTTE genocide attempt to cause fear among the villagers forcing them to flee their traditional lands, at the boarders of the ancient Anuradahapura Kingdom.

Mahawilachchiya is located approximately 30 kilometres north east of Anuradhapura.

More information will follow.
