The Commonwealth suspended Pakistan's membership on Thursday, after President Pervez Musharraf failed to meet a deadline to lift a three-week-old state of emergency and step down as army chief.

This is same scenario as in SriLanka .MR hopes the same returns from P Mush. This is a long term plan.

It's very interesting, most LNP members from Sri Lanka, like the one quoted above, I have noticed are at the very least weary of MR and his policies. Whereas most LNP US members are the biggest and most uncritical cheerleaders of MR. I guess if you don't have to live under his policies it is easy to support.

This president claimed he is for democracy but supports a military dictator Musharraf. Is he trying to get more military hardware and pilots to bomb minority areas?
Sri Lanka today strongly objected to the Commonwealth Organisation's decision to suspend Pakistan despite having earlier supported the move
DM

First FM was told Musharraf is a military dictator and opposed arms sale to SRi Lanka but president MR was promissed pilots and military hardware and overnight Musharraf was converted into a democrat.

If Pakistan is barred from commonwealth organisation there won't be no arms importation from Pakistan to sri lanka.

So our little man Mahinda has all the valid reasons to beg Commonwealth Organisation on behalf of terrorist government Pakistan to get more arms materials freely to continue this war

What a damn idiot this baggar Mahinda.

At least for the sake of cricket let us support Pakistan at this juncture, because they supported us together with India, during the 1995 world cup when many others wanted to isolate us.
