Even a 'Raja Yoga' cannot change a serial loser.

Ranil is basking in budget blues said one commentator. He had given Rajapaksa government 90 days soon after the election of 2005. Then it was the 'raja yoga' in April that would bring down the government. Finally, the budget would spell doom, he predicted. Losing is endemic to Ranil commented a parliamentary colleague when the budget debate was in full swing. His pooh-poohing victories against LTTE finally caught up with him, he added. Ranil's minimalistic military mind-set was mind-boggling even to his closest followers.

Bigger Looser=Ranil
Biggest Looser=We the Public

We Do Not have an Opposition worth its Salt in this Country. Thanks to Ranil, UNP has completely alienated it self from the Sinhala Community.

This is one of the very rare occasions when the Mahanayeke Theroes all voiced in unison in support of the Budget/Govt ...just goes to show how much the UNP has antagonized the Sinhala Buddhist community.

MR needs no enemies, when he has Ranil in Opposition.

Fellow should resign if he is really concerned about this country.

Tamil politicians by failing to articulate the problems confronting the Tamils in a national context, rather than exclusively in an ethnic context, failed their people miserably. The inability of the Tamil politicians to reach out to the Sinhala masses and identify with their problems, while making them aware of the problems of the Tamils in the language they understood, was a historical tragedy.

Sinthaka:

Sorry, machan, abruptly, I had to take off.

This is one of the very rare occasions when the Mahanayeke Theroes all voiced in unison in support of the Budget/Govt ...

How many Benzes this time? Monks have learned to play the game.

They support MR, get one Benz each.
Then they support Ranil, if Ranil offers two Benzes.

Next, MR go begging, he needs to offer 3 Benzes or equivalent in cash.

This game is the one that has been contributing to the record high inflation in the country!
