The present US authorities should follow what the white House cadidate Mrs Hilary Cillington has openly challenged the US attitude against LTTE by treating them as terrorist group like other world well known terroritst groups.
Tamils living all over the world have all the rights to fund their freedom fighters in sri Lanka.
What is wrong?
The more you take any such foolish actions against Tamils in sri Lanka , the sri Lankan government will never come for any political settlement.
US and European countries should now reconsider immeditely
LTTE is a simple freedom fighters against stat terrorisim. |

| Other than been a nuisance I don't think nothing else will happen because in US unlike SL you got to prove in a real court of law that TRO used its funds or office to help LTTE. |

Every international partial action against Tamils led by LTTE will push the Sri Lankan government to have military solution
( which is impossible as long as Prabhakaran lives) rather then a political solution.
European Union took a very foolish action to ban LTTE and what was the result after this action?
Did the Sri Lankan government agree to come for peace talks?
The western countries should learn a lot before taking any such foolish action.

This is why the war does not end as long as pirphaharan lives. Tamil Silva's death has dented the LTTE substantially and the military must target the main aim which is Pirabha then everything will come to a standstill and tables for peace will be there by the LTTE leadership. My Tamil colleague believes the LTTE will be finished as a fighting terror group by the middle of 2008(his suggestion is another 2 top leaders will face Tamil Silva's fate)
Without Pirabhaharn LTTE and the Tamils are much better off. LTTE have proven they are the curse of the Tamils and still proving that.
Isn't it sad that both parties support the LTTE(pro-LTTE tamils and the Ranil faction of the UNP for political mileage)?

Only thing expanding is Tiger cemeteries. Pretty soon they will restrict the cemetery to only big teras. If this low level thinning process continues for another year, killinochchi will be out of young people. Yet, the foreign living terror supporter will be happy as long as Velu is alive. |

Unless the GOVT brings forward a reasonable proposal the end of VP will not necessarily be the end of this struggle.

| If someone (livinig in West) wants to help Tamil people in villages in NorthEast, what other organisations are there to go to? TRO was the largest organisation doing work in the NorthEast. |
