Group says Sinhalese Nationalism Obstacle to Sri Lanka Peace
By Tendai Maphosa
London
08 November 2007
The report says with the island's society divided along caste, class and political lines, Sinhalese nationalism has been a powerful unifying force, giving radical parties a platform for populist agitation. This, the report adds, has given established politicians a diversion from their failure to address economic weakness, social concerns, and pervasive corruption.

Karuna has turned out to be the GOSL karma.
Karuna is assisting the UK police with his role with LTTE and the complexcity of GOSL in his crimes against humanity.
It is also claimed that a Black Tiger who had identified himself as a Karuna loyalist had been recruited as a driver for a lorry transporting soil for the Anuradhapura air base runway development project.

Hello Br. Navin how are you..
Only few days, these type of problems may have to face for Lankan Tamils..
GOSL soon may wipe out LTTE from the earth..
SLA may take out Parapaharan out from his romantic bunker...
Bunker Baster is waiting ti kiss Parapaharan..
Parapaharan is the most countable enemy for Lankan Tamils..
Parapa is living devil..
Must kill and send back to hell from where he came..

International community is letting war decide Tamil?s fate
Why you, Tamils, want International community to decide your fate? You Tamils and We Singhalese can decide our fate. For a start, leave arms and go for a negotiation if it failed then we both go back to war. Our president never denied a peaceful solution. But as long as you carry arms we are compelled to answer with ammunitions.
By the way when compare to Rajiv Gandhi, Premadasa and other political leaders in the country, that were killed by LTTE, who is Thamilselvan? He is not a person like Mhathma Gandhi. He was a bloody terrorist. This is how all terrorists end up with. What is there to shock the Tamil community? Damn Tamils must be thinking that their terrorists are immortal. No! these punks are vulnerable to an ordinary bullet.

Well said wick. It's really sad to see how the Tamil Community (pro-LTTE) has tarnished the image of mother Lanka. Completely disgraceful. All the supporters of LTTE must hang in public without mercy, and it applies to cyber warriors here as well.
Enjoy the video and see how shameful to be a Tamil these days cos of some stupid few cancerous diseases.

Why this people did not bother about killing thousands of innocent sinhala scivilians by brutal LTTEs?. LTTE killed their own scholars like Kagiragamam, Neelan Thiruchelwam, Amirthalingam, Loganathan etc.
I think the path GOSL has chosen to destroy LTTE is correct. LTTE is the main barrier to bring peace to the country. 95% of Sri Lankans do not support to devide the country. On the other hand who is tolerating to give 43% of land to 10% of Tamils living in North and East. |

If some one says its a ethnic conflict how it was ended within two days ??
tell ,me what is the compensation provided for those effected ? damn , from MavilAaru to Yala , next day compensation are provided FOR SINHALESE , even in some areas 'Bunker Building expenses ' for their safety , so far NOT A SINGLE TAMIL ABLE TO QUALIFY SUCH , so this is PURELY ETHNIC CONFLICT NOTHING ELSE .
Wrong again ? When there is a war there could be civilian casualties. Thats why we need to end this war.
LOL - civilian casualty 100% Tamils , SLA no less than 99% are sinhalese in a place where tamils no less than 99% ! if no ethnic conflict exist then SLA SHOULD HAVE HAD A COMBINATION at least 50% tamil in Norht and East , the sinhalase was responsible to place a such a cruel minded leaders in ruling position , so this solely responsible and they should take blame .
from dailymirror LASTWEEK !
I hesitate to call this a war, which in reality is a declared armed fight between nations beyond border. I believe this is more an ethnic conflict in the manner of terrorism. Otherwise will a CID say in court ?the suspect is a Tamil, his parents are from the North Is it a sin to be from North? South and North are ours and granting bail would cause a public outcry?, while the government says the war against the LTTE is ?to liberate the people in the North from the Tiger grip to ensure their democratic rights'? Even Mark Anthony could have not coined such a phrase. This is what George Bush also said about Iraq which has now put the world in a quandary , wasn?t the young journalist, Wamanan, too one of those to be liberated rather than imprisoned? Doesn?t the officer know gender bias and ethnic bias are offences in the international court that gives right to one to seek relief?

Not quiet, India will not sit and watch military kills minorities and impose unitary state solely controlled by the majority:
Mr. Chidambaram said:
?India is committed to the unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Sri Lanka. India has made this clear on every occasion at the same time India has emphasised that the ethnic conflict in Sri Lanka, arising out of a sense of discrimination and a sense of negation of cultural, linguistic and human rights, should be resolved through a negotiated political settlement that includes a credible devolution of powers. |
