If you can be subjective and not parlially blind you must accept that it was JR who masterminded the split between Muslims and Tamils in Batticaloa by transporting Maradana Muslim thugs to attack and loot Tamil homes. LTTE also equally terrorised not only Muslims in chasing them from Jaffna but Sinhalamisation is the cause for all these ills. Sinhala leaders tolerate Muslims now to get their support to beat Tamils.
If you want to understand how the logic works, look at how Karuna was lured, supported and promised the East only to be smuggled into Britain and locked up by promoting Pillayan who also will be dumped in the same way. Muslims will be dumped once Tamils are finished, I do not expect you to undestand.
We have lived through all the looting, riots and humiliations, you may not know because your are previleged and comfortable as the member of the master race speaking the official language.
Not every Sinhalese subscribe to extremism either, you may reach nirvana if you read Prof Wijemanne book on the ethnic conflict, he is at least a century ahead of the ordinary man and much much more beyond extremists.

The fundamental error in your thinking is that Karuna and VP represent the entire Tamil race. Though you like to think that it is so there are enough sensible Tamils who resent them and do not want these uneducated murderers as their leaders! Unfortunately stupid Tamils like you believe that bullets and bombs can solve the problem and wholeheartedly support this murderous gang. After 30 long yrs stupid WE Tamils have not realized that VP cannot solve this broblem with war!
The hypocrisy with Tamils is that when LTTE is practicing its brutal terrorism, killing bus loads of unarmed civilians, even infants, you are more than happy to endorse that terror is the only means to solve this (non-existing) problem. When LTTE is defeated WE Tamils cry loud that war cannot solve problems but CFA! Isn't this hypocrisy?
If Sinhalization is bad for you, you have to live with the fact that Tamilization is also equally bad. When VP was doing ethnic cleansing in the north and the east stupid Tamils like you were elated and sent more money to VP to do that and when it boomaranged and the country was driven into a war, you cry for IC for not doing anything about it.
As long as WE Tamils don't want to think that SL belongs to Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims and the rest you can happily have this war until the Tamil population drops even below 5% as it is at present.
You represent a typical We Tamil who thinks Tamils NAtionalism is superior to Sinhala Nationalism and hypocritically called yourself an impartial person. There are others here too who are like you, hypocritical beyond imagination!
You too prove enough that hypocrisy is a Tamil trait!
You tend to paint a picture that Sihalese are living comfortably having had to speak an official language. I'm sure you must be living somewhere in the West without knowing that Tamil too is an official language in SL!

This is the unfortunate reality of two minorities having been conquered and ruled by the Sinhala king. The Sinhalese always knew that their supremacy hinged solely on sowing hatred between Tamils and Muslims, such that they could never present a united front. They have thus ensured that both our communities are forever toadying for favors from the Sinhala ruler, and that too for mere crumps off his table. Our bickering to please our master has gone to new heights as we fight among ourselves to see who can lick the ruler's boots to a sparkling shine.
Kadirgamar exemplified this trend among Tamils, for not only did he shed every iota of his Tamil identity, but did an exemplary job of even denying the mass slaughter of Tamils in the North and East, and defended his master to the end. His reward was a funeral in Buddhist traditions that even his Tamil children couldn't relate to.
Among Muslims, Hakeem and Moulana have long forgotten their quest to advance Muslims rights in the land, but have now redoubled their efforts to outdoing the other for kiribath with President Rajapakse.
As Tamils fight their Muslims brothers and Muslims fight amongst themselves, the Sinhala ruler has wasted no time to foster more division among Tamils. After that will be separation along religious lines (Tamil Hindus against Tamil Christians)...The saga continues.
Sinhala supremacy will end when Tamils and Muslims wizen up to the gaols of the Sinhala rulers. As you said bro, today its is Tamils at the receiving end, but tomorrow it will be the Muslims.
