Looks like the West is gearing up to try the LTTE leaders in their human rights and war crimes tribunals. The EU especially has invested a lot in getting multilateral institutions like the ICC started. They will se trieing Karuna as a good opportunity for their useless institutions. What after all do these sham courts represent other than European imperialism and racism. However it does not bode well for the LTTE - they will be seen as an easy target by the West. They are preparing the machinery to try Prabhakaran and most likely Rajapakse afterwards to show that they are evenhanded.

ignorance is bliss! PULI lives in peelam, does anything to whitewash LTTE :):) lol
denial..denial.. :) lol
Nobody denies Rajiv's role in killing Tamils using the IPKF or that the LTTE (and Tamils) wanted to have revenge on Rajiv for these killings.
There was probably a dormant plot by the LTTE to kill Rajiv which would only have gone into active status in the most extreme circumstances (like reinduction of the IPKF). However, the situation in 1991 did not warrant the LTTE taking out Rajiv for purposes of protecting its interests (For revenge yes, but not for protecting their interests).
In this situation, some other powers conspired and moved to influence the dormant plot into action and killed Rajiv.
The Rajiv assassins could have been in LTTE controlled SL within 15 hours of the assassination if they had just used public transportation to get to the coast. Nobody has answered the question as to why the killers didn't go back to SL if they had approval from the LTTE to carry out the assassination.

Karuna's affairs went to the UK's parliament and massive argument between the Home office Minister and Foreign Minister as how a visa issued to Karuna?
there then decided to launch a full range of investigation from UK high commission to Heathrow immigration counter.
A very good time to Rajafox.
We have to thanks him forever. |

That is true, but VP and Poddu Amman planned everything being in SL. So why did they need any sort of transportation? Just curious.

Freelance:
Karuna never been as a deputy for VP.
he was the commander for batticoloa-Amparai districts, sametime not for the all Eastern, just for those two districts.
he led the many Regiments in Wanni when Jeyasikuru operation was there, VP gave a chance to face-up a oncoming enemy's because he had been in batticoloa like a guerrilla commander.
he misunderstood the real things and broke away.
now he digged the sand himself for end his life in prison.
SO,,,
Who has won??? VP still same place. |
