Shanthan pleads `not guilty`
Friday, 9 November 2007 - 9:08 PM SL Time

An alleged senior leader of the Tamil Tigers in UK has pleaded not guilty to five terrorism charges at London`s Central Criminal Court.
Arunachalam Krishanthakumar, widely known as Shanthan, and Goldan Lambert were arrested by Britain`s anti-terror authorities earlier this year.

The charges included allegedly helping to organise a meeting to support the Tamil Tigers and receiving money that could be used for terrorism.

The court has not yet set a date for his trial to begin.

The Tamil Tigers, banned in Britain and other countries, want a homeland for Tamils in Sri Lanka`s north and east.

Chrishanthakumar, 50, of Norbury, is charged with five counts, under the Terrorism Act 2000.

He is accused of addressing a meeting in London`s Hyde Park on 25 July last year to encourage support of the group and receiving £1,500 for terrorism purposes.

Chrishanthakumar also faces charges of receiving literature connected to terrorism and belonging to the group. He was remanded in custody.

Lambert, 29, of south Croydon faces one charge of managing a meeting to support the Tamil Tigers. He was released on bail.

GOSL must maintain a comprehensive database of all these terrorists, their supporters, those who give money or material aid (foreign or abroad), on-line propaganda campaigners with images, names, nicknames, IP addresses and other details. They should be declared as criminals and should be kept on exile forever. If they ever come to Sri lanka, they must be arrest at BIA on arrival and jailed on charges plus their property in Sri Lanka must be confiscated. This is a proposal to counter terrorism, hope someone in GOSL will take action.

Tamil Tigers in Canada

Tamil Tigers in the US

Tamil Taigers in Aussi...

After 25 years struggle, Tamils achived many titles becuase of Tigers.

However, UK never charged AntobBalla for supporting terrorism. Now they are after 'Shantha Dantha' tigers.

GOSL must maintain a comprehensive database of all these terrorists, their supporters, those who give money or material aid (foreign or abroad), on-line propaganda campaigners with images, names, nicknames, IP addresses and other details.....rest the normal common crap

This is a proposal to counter terrorism, hope someone in GOSL will take action.........Hah hah haaaaa...I think this fellow has suddenly got up from sleep and started writing this on LNP......Sihhina lowwen avilla liyala aney

Similar action should be taken and procedures should be put in place by the Lankan tamil community for all the Human right violations, Killings and war crimes on lankan tamils by GOSL & their sinhala terrorist....when ever they come overseas they should be arrested like Karuna put them behind bars and get them exposed / disgraced....also one by one Manhinda, JVP, JHU gang should be banned for war crimes in all the developed countries....I am sure this is the way out for these hela modayas in future.....Sinhalaya are any way now branded as Terrorist in most of the countries who have witnessed the killings of normal lankan Tamils by Sinhala Terrorist

The Real Sinhala Terrorist Freelancer has provided some great recommendations to GOSL regarding Lankan Tamils on LNP.....fool thinks as if GOSL not aware of his invention crap stated above and calling Tamils as Terrorist....Pathetic aney

This guys who support the dream pealam may think they'll get away as innocents. But they should know they have committed sins against their own by supporting a devil. It's the Tamils who live under the clutches of the LTTE who are suffering most.

This is the Drama of GOSL extended in UK

Whatever the Kopi kade drama GOSL plays, it is impossible to
stop the Tamil people support to LTTE until Tamils rights are realized. GOSL goons can try whatever they want but they are bound to fail. That is a sad reality for the goons.
