Sri Lankan terrorist friend, Pakistan, is also in trouble.
At least 17 Pakistani soldiers and a number of civilians have been killed in an attack on an army vehicle in the northern region of Swat.

The attack comes one day after the army deployed 2,500 more troops in the area to combat rising militancy.

Nobody likes army occupation either internally or extrenally.

Why should he worry when the 'Sahodara Company' is now set to get a fat commission through the procurement of replacements. Actually he must be happy.

May be VP is also set to get a commision from the 'Sahodara Company'! Who knows!

He should be worried. At least concerned. There is a security lapse and action has to be taken.

He should also feel sad regarding the lost 13 of our gallant fighters.

Talking in a high handed manner will not serve any purpose.

No use immediately after an attack such as this to just drop a bomb or two in the jungles in the Wanni. Continue and fight for a finish and eliminate the teros.

You have failed miserably at the Economic front! Do something noteworthy at the war front at least or just let someone else who can handle the situation. I wonder who that would be? Perhaps General Janaka Perera should be allowed to take charge as the Supreme Commander of the Forces and tackle the war.

Any comments?

My Master Plan to rule for 12 years.

MR is in charge of the country. He wants to destroy LTTE and conduct elections in the North and East, this will ensure that only those who support the govt, people like Ananthasangaree, Douglas DEvantha, Pillaiyan can contest the elections. Our police and army will make sure no TNA or LTTE can field candidates, if so, it will be at their own risk, no protection will be given to anti-Govt candidates.

The outcome will be all the MPs elected in the NorthEast will support the Govt. Then the MPs will be given the right to be in charge of devolved District Councils. This will make sure that there is no opposition to my presidentcy or the security of the country. How is my master plan?

President must worried on both destruction of the airbase as well as soldiers. Unfortunately Air Force was not vigilent on any of these attacks by LTTE. All most all the time LTTE easily reached to the targets and destroyed what they wanted. This appears SLAF is not a vigilant force to protect their soldiers as well as equipment and crafts. Though govt spends billons of money to uplift the standards of SLAF, they just destroy all these expenses. See how effectively LTTE use its locally assembled small aircrafts to attack important places in SL. They fly low, attack targets accurately and return to the base safely. But SLAF in Northern fly above 5 km and drop bombs far away from the targets. I remember once Navy called SLAF to assist to detroy some LTTE boats in the sea in 2002. They came 2 hours later and destroyed a naval Dohra craft by dropping a bomb about 4500 meter above.
SLAF can learn a lot from SLN and make the maximum damage to the enemy.

The most valuable asset is human beings, and everything is secondary. this is the gospal truth.

I am very happy to see our president thinks the same way. This is totally contrast to Velu and tamils thinking that human beings are just weapons and lands and property have superior value.

During the 4 years of CFA 53 died.

During the 2 years of Rajapakse's presidentcy, more than 5000 killed and 2000 disappeared.

All those 7,000 are non-human beings

I am very happy to see our president thinks the same way.

Fools seldom disagree
