Damayanthi,
Chasing muslims and Sinhalese from Jaffna is OK with you, do you call it PEACE?

It is callousness.
What do you say to the fact that there were anti-Tamil riots and Tamils were chased from Colombo and South in 1958, 1977 and 1983? There are no Tamils left in some towns now, example, Tissa or Ambalantota. Who started Sinhala Only which was illegal under the then constitution? Tamils have returned to Colombo for reasons they only know, there is army in their areas and not enough food or white vans etc.

There were mistakes on both sides. There was an anti Muslim riots in 1915 started by Buddhists.

You must have CFs before real peace. During CBK period there was a CF but DPU killed LTTE and civilians because clandestine activities do not spare civilians. During CFA LTTE killed those who were on that DPU. Nobody justifies these killings but there were mistakes and blunders on both sides.

Are you sure it was LTTE that killed Kadir? In that case why cannot the GOVT or police bring the accused to the courts to prove it. Under the British law WE TOO FOLLOW IT)no one is quilty until proven. Why do you think that AG's office is delaying this case for more than 2 years now?

MR is not worried about the aircrafts since more crap will be procured eventually at the cost of the taxpayers and foreign relief loans. More %%%%%%%% for the MR & Co. More money....

0000's of live have been lost over the years and he is mourning over this incident. Deep down must be happy as another avenue has opened to make money. If nothing is done more lives will be lost, and He will mourn himself to death.Poor MR (LOL)

This operation appeared to have been launched by the LTTE in retaliation of the recent operations of the Sri Lankan Navy against the transport ships of the LTTE and the air strikes of the SLAF over LTTE positions in the Northern Province.

Renowned defence columnist Iqbal Athas, in an interview with the Hindustan Times has made the following statement (in the words of the newspaper)

'Iqbal Athas, Sri Lanka correspondent of Jane's Defense Weekly told Hindustan Times, that that the SLAF's Chinese-made K-8 jet trainer and a propeller driven naval reconnaissance plane were also destroyed, crippling the Sri Lankan Navy's deep sea operations.'

The reference to the 'propeller driven naval reconnaissance plane' is the C12-Huron Beech Super King aircraft destroyed by the Tigers on Monday. This account is counter factual. The Beechcraft has never assisted the Navy in deep sea operations. The only time it assisted them was in September last year when it captured, along with other surveillance units, an accurate image of an LTTE ship. The fast mid-sized ship was more a boat than a ship. This enabled the SLN to seek and destroy the vessel. The Beechcraft has never assisted the Navy in any of its deep sea operations ever. It did not have the capacity to travel such distances, which sometimes involved deep sea operations to the outer atolls of Australia.

Stop Killing:
Today human life has become so cheap for a piece of land they are willing to kill innocent life .
I was born in Sri lanka, as a minority their is no other country which had more freedom than Sri lanka.
At one time all major ministers were Muslims, we have no restriction in practicing our religion.
Its natural sometime you will find people who hate you for what you are but overall Sri lanka has provided all minorities a fair chance, considering other countries, look at India the problem minorities have to go though each years thousands of innocent people are slaughtered.

Some Thugs in the name of freedom fighters started LTTE, what is their motive killing people, will they succeed NO.
Have Terrorist succeeded any part of the world NO.
Will this fight end NO
So the reality is innocent lives lost, country destroyed for few Thugs who are willing to kill people.
As a country the armed forces have the right to defend.

Look LTTE want almost half the country which is insane mentality. These suicide commandos are brain washed and lost innocent lives for which they will never get to enjoy.

If they have love for human life, Love for Tamil people and love for the country they will stop killing.
they are a killing machine, remember the bombs in Colombo which killed thousands of innocent people.

No organization which resort to kill humans to achieve their target should be allowed to succeed..

Long Live lanka.....

Mthussein,
At one time all major ministers were Muslims,

Was it after or before anti-Muslim riots of 1915?

Stop killing the school children by bombing the ophanages.

Abdul Halam, a Tamil speaking Muslim was the president of INdia, Manmohan Singh, a Sigh out of 2% in the population is her Prime Minister, Dr Nathan, a Tamil out of 4.2% population is the President of Singapore for last 9 years, how many presidents and Prime Ministers from 25% minorities have been there in your Sri Lanka? None, satisfied?

Killing started in 1956. Read 'Emergency 58' to find out how many Tamils including pregnant mothers were slaughtered in 1958.

Nearly 100% of the army, Navy and Airforce are made up from Sinhalese who occupy Tamil areas against their will, this is brown colonialism.

Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapakse has said that he was not worried about the damage to the aircrafts

Of course!!!!! buy some more second hand machines from Ukrain from a non-existing company and solid 40-50% kick back into the pocket.

Even one wonders how tigers infiltrated the impenetrable fortress where expensive planes were parked?

Could that too be another deal with the LTTE?
