Why don't LTTE allow tamils to vote in a free election.
completely agree, in a LTTE free world, tamil votes would not count for much either. Hence why all Chelvanykam pacts were torn apart, why? cos the budhists said so!

Already bored with the thread but watching the video coverage of the latest aerial bombing of Pannikkankulam, in Mulaittivu.Hope no civilians were caught in the bombing as I see a massive area on fire and lot of explosions.

He did not kill any public. Unlike SLA who kill the innocent tamils and claim they killed LTT
Exactly..........that's why no foreign country condemned only GOSL WAS CRYING but then sayin they woudl hit back!
Again GOSL will hit schools, get paramilatary to aduct tamils and create a sense of fear? why? to control tamils and keep then in their place |

those were not fair agreements. ok you know more than me, why were they not fair. Why was a need for them in teh first place?
Ltte has to be centralised, ie. reporting to 1 person, you know why? cos if it was elected there would be loadsof infighting and problems, bit like GOSL. So I guees, and I believe VP's idea is to get some sort of settlement then step down.
If someonelse takes charge of LTTE, I think teh system will break down |

VP mentioned that after a final settlement he will step down, and someone else will take the poltical powers for the region. In this sort of war situation, you cant have electon, etc. Only when there is normalcy. Therefore VP cant be called a dictator
